Jeffrey Gurtizen's Online Review Report Card

If I could give this doctor zero stars I would. I am left with chronic health conditions due to his negligence and stupidity. Every diagnosis he gives sounds like a guess as if he’s asking you as the patient. This “doctor” actually fired me as a patient after my dentist requested he get a CAT scan of two infected teeth. He doesn’t want to be bothered with anything beyond the common cold and scrapes and bruises. Completely incompetent.

He's a fantastic Dr love his bedside maners. He listens to my concerns addresses them accordingly accordingly.

Dr. Gurtizen has been my doc for well over 7yrs. he has always been the most caring and thoughtful family doc a guy could have. we have been working thru some medical issues for almost 4 yrs!! this started in feb 2018. he has stuck with me thru thick and thin,,,,feb 2022 WILL BE 4 YRS. i would not trade him for any other family doc out there!!

Please for the love of god do not see dr. Gurtizen. At the beginning, he referred to my ADHD (attention deficit hyperactive disorder) as ADD (sans hyperactive) multiple times. ADD has been an invalid diagnosis for almost three years now… like COME ON. He was sympathetic but ultimately had no clear idea on how to treat me. The miscommunication and incompetency only starts there. As months go by, my prescriptions are consistently filled late, resulting in an inability to regulate my emotions at the exact time I absolutely NEED to be able to regulate my emotions. That all needs to be said because yes, I had an outburst on the phone with the clinic (which I immediately apologized for ON THE SAME PHONE CALL) And did I receive my prescription on time and a new treatment plan? Nope. I got a little envelope in the mail berating me for my behavior and warning me that the next time it happens “further action will be taken.” This clinic is a joke. Go here for a cold or a rash, but if it’s anything that requires even a small amount of critical thinking and empathy, skip Swedish American. Please.

Dr. Gurtizen went above and beyond to help me find the reason for my sinusitis. I have been coming to him for a couple of years now and I believe that we are becoming closer in my medical care. I'm from the good ole days and expect my Dr. to not be in a rush like they all seem to be now days. Every Dr. that he has referred me to has worked out well. If not he will suggest another. ...

Always friendly and gladly listens to my issues and makes sure he figures out the issue I may have at that time . I would recommend him to anyone e in the area looking for a dr.

Always friendly. Always thorough. Never a long wait. Appreciate Dr. Gurtizen and his staff!

Great Dr. he listens to suggestions and your own thoughts of possibilities. He really takes in to consideration your requests when it comes to getting referrals and changing medications. Where as some drs just say maybe and only consider their own “fav” brand drugs and never give referrals because they think you’re undermining them.

Horrible service and now I don't want to be a patient here. I was 12 minutes late and called on the way when I was stuck in construction on North Main. A total of an hour driving time and no medical attention and now I'm in more pain! There wasn't a single person in the waiting room. His nurse had already called the front desk to say they wouldn't see me. I was told they have a 12 minute cancelation policy. Wow! I've waited in their waiting room for 30 to 45 minutes many times. I do not trust these people for my medical care. They are all about the money and getting out of work early apparently.
