Dr. Luk performed two of my ankle surgeries. I sustained displaced bimalleolar fractures and multiple fractures of my tibia in a hiking accident. The initial surgery was by Dr. Lin, then when it appeared I was going to have extended problems, he referred me to Dr. Luk for arthroscopy. She did a masterful job, and she was wonderful, warm, and kind throughout. It wasn't looking like I would be able to walk to the mailbox without pain before. She had great ideas post-surgery as well. I couldn't walk my dog (too painful) after the second surgery, and she suggested I switch from Nike to New Balance. I was walking the dog within three weeks . . . and am still walking him comfortably. I've hiked 6-8 miles many times since the last surgery. Drs. Lin and Luk saved me from being very crippled.

I fractured my ankle in two places and it was my first time ever having to deal with a major health issue. I was completely lost in the whole health system but the front staff were friendly, informative, and efficient scheduling me in. Dr. Luk and her assistant Julianne Boardman make a great team who really listen to you and make sure that you're on the same page. Their follow up is also amazing and they make sure that they're accessible to you if you have questions.
