Dr. Yoon took care of my wrist fracture from A-Z. She is really terrific - knowledgeable, friendly, professional and caring. The injury obviously wasn't great to deal with, but it was comforting being in the hands of such a great doctor. I would gladly recommend her services to anyone in the area needing treatment for a hand/wrist injury.
Extraordinary doctor with great bedside manner who's always willing to take the time to speak to you. I saw her a few years ago for a shoulder issue and, when I started having hand issues, tried to go back to see her again. I had to book three months out, given the waitlist, but I was willing to wait because she's a great doctor. Except: the office called me a week before the appointment to say I had an outstanding balance from an appointment in 2017, due to insurance refusing to pay the remainder of the visit cost. I reached out to my previous insurance about it see what the deal was and then, in the middle of trying to sort that out with a payer I'm no longer with, the office kept calling to ask if I was going to just pay the balance. Around the third time they called, two days before the appointment, they indicated that it was policy to not allow anyone in for an appointment with an outstanding balance. I checked in the portal and there's no outstanding balance listed, though there is a write-off from two years ago (almost a year after the appointment date) in that amount. I told the office I wasn't going to pay just on their word without confirmation from my insurance that the denial was appropriate and accurate per my benefits, and was told I needed to cancel my appointment. I told them I still had two days to sort this out and was doing my best to work with the insurance company on it, and they insisted they needed to cancel my appointment, even after admitting fault regarding the fact that they wrote the supposed debt off-- which, as I confirmed in my email and the portal, I was never properly billed for-- two years ago and never followed up on it. Again, they waited two and a half years after the appointment to let me know I owed this charge, and then told me two days before the appointment that I'd waited three months for that I wouldn't be allowed in the building without paying this balance that I can't confirm is accurate. They finally called again after 5PM two days before the appointment to tell me they were cancelling my appointment and I could schedule another one after sorting out this issue that they specifically caused. tl;dr fantastic doctor, but don't trust the office staff as far as you can throw them.
I saw Dr. Yoon for a wrist issue. She fixed it in one visit. She is also friendly and there was no wait time. She also arranged for hand brace and physical therapy right there so I didnt gave to deal with that myself.
One of my coworkers had a wrist fracture and Dr. Yoon was very thorough in explaining the condition and healing process. He was able to receive an appt right away, which we appreciated, but the receptionist could have been more accommodating. Her staff stated he was inactive and i later confirmed that he was not. Her office could have gone the extra mile to verify the insurance by calling them, but the patient had to instead. Although my coworker said the doctor was great, the front staff would turn me off.
Amazing! She was very attentive, responsive and helped me recover from a broken wrist without surgery.
I had a good and informative consultation with Dr. Yoon. Was in between meetings during a conference and experiencing pain in my wrist. Worried, I wanted to have it checked out by an Orthopedic Surgeon. The office accepted my health insurance and I was able to get an appointment that fit into my schedule. Dr. Yoon was thorough in her examination and explained the issue to me quickly. Also, in a manner I understood without all the medical jargon. There was no sugar coating on what the next few steps of the healing process were. I was thankful for her direct manner.
Every bad review of this doctor is accurate. I recently went to Dr. Yoon for a suspicious bump on my thumb. She was rude and condescending the whole time. After taking an xray she sent me for an MRI. I went back to go over the results. She was impatient and unsympathetic. She immediately recommended surgery without offering any alternatives. She told me I had a tumor. The MRI was inconclusive. It stated it was trigger finger or alternatively a giant cell tumor. She quickly determined it was a tumor requiring major hand surgery. I couldnt believe it. She didnt want to talk about any options like a cortizone shot or biopsy. Terrible bed side manners. When I expressed my concern and reluctance to do surgery, she actually said well if you dont have surgery it will get bigger and you could lose your finger or your hand or die, very matter of factly with no emotion or sensitivity. I was so shook up and scared to death. I called my husband so she could explain this to him. She was utterly rude to him as well when he started asking specific questions. I left and never went back. Today I went for a second opinion. I was told I had trigger finger and not a tumor. The dr gave me a cortizone injection and I will be fine. If it needed to come out he said it would be a small incision under local anesthesia, not major hand surgery. Thank God I went for a second opinion. It seems very obvious she was only interested in making money off of unnecessary surgery. I also didnt need an MRI. Its so disturbing that there are doctors out there like this.
Office never notified me that my MRI results were in. I emailed Dr. Yoon's office inquiring and the got no reply to emails. I called and they refused to provide results from diagnostic imaging without scheduling an office visit. Holding my results ransom and dragging me in to the office for what should have been an email is unacceptable. Had to call the MRI facility directly for my test results which they cheerfully agreed to provide to me with no cost or headaches after a 2 minute phone call.
Went here to review my x-rays and mri imaging after i was told my insurance was accepted a month prior and at the visit. She took additional MRI's (because apparently her machine was better - aka money grab). She was a bit unsympathetic and rude with her bedside manner but I let it slide since the reviews on zocdoc said she was great. One month later I received a phone call stating my insurance was not accepted and I had to pay almost $1k despite me confirming with the receptionist on multiple occasions it was. Despite it being her fault I was still harassed for the bill that day. I heard nothing for another year, until I started receiving bills (A YEAR LATER), I reached out to a legal intermediate to assist, it took months but it was told to me it was resolved in October of 2018. It is now May 30th 2019 and I received the same bill again. For a visit I had almost 2 years ago. It never ends because their bookkeeping and staff is inept. Stay away. Stay far far away. This doctor is about the money not the patient and her staff is poorly educated at their duties.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
