If only I could give this doctor negative number of stars, I would. So irresponsible, took my husbands x-rays that were actually from a long time ago and can not be recovered for a comparison and lost them. Hello? Have you ever heard of HIPAA compliance? I called so many times and they are just telling me, oh, they are not here, we don't know what to tell you. Can't make up his mind, asking him for an answer, every time he calls back its a different story he has about the illness. Nobody cares about you in that office, you are just another surgery on the table and more money $$$$ Half of the time can't even understand this doctor, keeps mumbling and talking about everything not related to the problem.
I have seen him four times for a kidney issue. He only wants to talk about me going on a vegan diet. I care about my kidney issue, not what diet he thinks I should be on. Every time I go its the same story. Told him I wasn't interested in this and on my last visit he said then you will die of cancer. Every time I go I am stressed out and totally upset when I leave, even though my kidney is doing fine, I am stressed about this vegan issue. Plus I had to wait and hour to see him and there where no other patients there when I got arrived and when I left. Not going back, plenty of other doctors I can see that will not try to push a vegan diet on me.
I changed Urologist after my first Surgery and Dr Randazzo was fantastic in every phase of the surgery , before and follow up ! No pain from his kidney stones (2) surgery and all his advice, wisdom and skills made this surgery much better than my first experience with a different urologist! His office and staff are very busy, but now i know why! He is in demand and worth the inconvenience of a busy office
This great Doctor saved my life! Prostate cancer removal in12/2012. Complete recovery. Awesome man.Thank you Sir.
Dr. Randazzo determined that I needed a prostatectomy asap. On getting a second opinion it was determined through genetic testing that I in fact had a very slow growing cancer. After three years of active surveillance, including another biopsy where additional samples were also taken and shown to be negative, my PSA levels continue to be below 1.0 and gratefully my prostate is still with me!!! Dr. Randazzo may be old school, but I am glad I got a second opinion from a younger Dr.
Great service for an very experienced doctor. Would highly recommend.
Have always found Dr. Randazzo attentive and thorough.
Dr Radazzo removed my right kidney which had a 6 cm tumor . Kidney removed in 2010. Still alive and well retired in Florida . Great bedside manner and obviously knows what he’s doing .
Dr. Randazzo is an experienced Urologist and has helped me over the past year deal with Chronic Urinary retention caused by an enlarged prostate. During the year he and his office were always available for any questions and provided diagnosis, tests and eventually a procedure to alleviate my problem. Dr. R recommended and eventually performed a TURP procedure to remove a significant portion of the enlarged , benign prostate . Post recovery from TURP urination is very close to normal.
Dr. Randazzo is an outstanding urologist and surgeon. I found out that I had prostate cancer and he patiently went over all of my options with me. I never felt rushed, and I felt that he truly cared about me understanding his recommendation for treatment. He is very thorough, conscientious, and knowledgeable. My surgery went well, and I have been cancer-free for three years. I give Dr. Randazzo my highest recommendation.
Many years of experience and a great doctor!
I was a new patient and I got this appointment to see Dr. Randall Randazzo after waiting for almost one month. I arrived about 20-minutes earlier. The doctor's PA, who was not an MD, did the testing and he was quite nice but, he could not answer some of my questions. I asked to see Dr. Randazzo. I was told that the doctor is not here today and that the PA has already talked to him about me. Had I known that I will not see the doctor, I would never have gone there.
Doc Randazzo is the very best! I was diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer. Doc Randazzo explained all my options & performed a radical open prostatectomy on 9/6/16. We were lucky to have caught the cancer at an early stage. It was completely contained in the prostate & I am now cancer free! Doc Randazzo is a skilled surgeon & diagnostician & I hold him in the highest regard!
One my first new patient visit, I found the front staff, nurse and Dr Randazzo all to be attentive, friendly and Prompt. I found Dr Randazzo to be readily available to answer my questions ... and to be comprehensive, knowledgeable and relationally engaging in my care. He reviewed my history, gave me a complete examine and provided a diagnosis with a responsible next step treatment plan.
It takes several weeks for a appt then you wait HOURS to be seen on the day of appt. The nurses are rude and uncaring, the front desk staff was talking badly & making fun of a patient loud enough for me to hear them. I was prescribed a medication that I had a severe reaction to, when I called to inform them the nurse told me it was impossible to have the reaction I had, and pushed me off to my pcp telling me that nothing else could be done, but keep my follow up appt with them? No thanks.
I waited an hour for the doctor & only when I went to the front desk to complain did he finally come to see me. The staff said he was late but never told me to afterwards. Staff seems like they were frazzled and when I said it's a little crazy here today she said every day is crazy but it really was not that busy.
Father was in hospital for acute renal failure. He recovered well and more rapidly than doctors had expected. He however had a problem w/ retention & needed a catheter in until the underlying problem was discovered. Dr Randazzo was scheduled to perform cystoscopy & possible surgery to correct the problem he cancelled the appt & rescheduled 1 wk out. The day before 2nd appt, tells my father he didn't have time to perform procedure & would reschedule again in 4 days. Meanwhile, the hospital needed to discharge him because he was stable, but unable to go to the physical rehab as planned, because he still has the catheter. The dr told him it would be temporary to send him to a nursing home/rehab until the procedure could be done, then he could have catheter removed & placed in phys rehab. Well, day after being placed in nursing home, he notifies my mother that he again has no time to do the procedure. The 3rd appt is cancelled and he says he cannot perform the procedure for another month. Meanwhile, he seemed to show absolutely no concern about the fact that my father's stay in the nursing home will be prolonged from 4 days to over 20 days, because the doctor has no time. I am not certain if it is because the man doesn't care about his patients, or if he has no interest in caring for elderly, or if he is over worked, or if he is just going on Spring Break. Whatever the case may be, the lack of professionalism he has provided, has led us to look elsewhere to have the procedure. There is absolutely no reason to keep my father in a nursing home just because he is waiting for a cystoscopy. He is better off looking for help from a doctor who cares. It is unfortunate that Alexian Brothers offered no alternative to this nonsense. So we will attempt to take our business to Central Dupage.
The doctor was not doing the surgery which i have to done. He was keep sending me some tests after 2 moths back and forward he sad i am not doing that kind of surgery i will send you to other doctor. I was shock!! He wasted my 2 moths!! He told me month ago what kind of surgery need to be done with me and he was still sending me some tests. I thought he was going to do the surgery finally. He knew that what kind of surgery need to be done with me. He just wants to make easy Money. That's all i see it.. I don't recommended to any body this doctor!!!
