From the minute you walk in the door this place is remarkable. Front desk…down the halls….staff involved with your loved one. I can’t begin to express our appreciation for the care given to my father in law. Until the moment he was wheelchair we out the door I felt that they cared and genuinely wanted to make a difference. Thank you!

while the therapy techs are good. the nursing staff has alot of work to do on compassion, and just plain doing the job your are getting paid for competently. the whole facility has a huge problem with interpersonal, and family communication. my sister said it was like ground hog day every day. one nurse described her job as stealing money, that's how much work she had to do I do not recommend ANY stroke patients go here. if you love your people don't go here.

Was here for just shy of 2 weeks recovering from double knee replacement. Can’t saw enough good about the care and attention from everyone at this facility. Would recommend to anyone in need rehabilitation after surgery or injury.

This rehabilitation Hospital in Shiloh Illinois and the one in St.Louis on there website says that they take care of stroke patient, which is a lie. My husband had a stroke and both location keep refusing his care, even though it says on there website that according to the American heart/ stroke association that the best outcome for a stroke patient to get back their quality of living is to be in an inpatient rehab not a skilled nursing facility. The rehab liaison wanted me to put him in a skilled nurse facility so he could gain more mobility and be able to stay awake for 3 hours. Just to get this straight you are a rehab facility that takes care of stroke patient at all different levels but you won’t take a patient that can’t move his right side and needs to use a hover lift. A brain injury requires sleep to heal and these patients don’t receive 3 hours of therapy in a row. I believe they do get rest time in between and isn’t the rehab suppose to help any patient achieve there goal to get back to there normal quality of living. The rehab liaison did nothing to help get him there. She was more interested in what she looked like then the best care for this patient. She also told me he had to be out of the facility in 7 to 10 days. Again, it usually takes a least a couple weeks maybe even longer for a stroke patient to get to the point of being able to go home and after that still needs outpatient rehab. I won’t recommend either of these facilities for your rehab care. I feel these facilities we more interested in looking good on paper in getting a patient out of rehab quickly then having the best care for any patient. Our health care is more interested in numbers and percentage in what the oath they have taken in giving the best quality of care to all patients.

Absolutely outstanding. My mother-in-law has been here for several weeks and the care has been outstanding. Mother-in-law is 88 father-in-law’s 89 years old father-in-law drives here to sit with her each and every day and I’m sure drives the nurses crazy. But they are so patient and kind with both of them. The facility is very clean nursing staff is very attentive, great place. And the food is good.

The Space Provided Is Not Enough !!! I Would Absolutely Refer This Facility To Anyone Who Needs Rehab !!! I Am A Retired LPN Who Worked at Least 25 Years or More in LTC Facilities, So I Have Some Seen A Lot !! The Concept Used Here Should Be the Protocol Used EVERYWHERE !!! If ALL MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENTS Could Be Trained to Only Use This Concept (Which Is A Complete Team of People Who Will Do What Is Needed to Get the Patient Up to Their Optimal Level) and The Team Includes Every Employee There !!!! It’s a Joint Effort !!! EVERYONE in the Building, Including the Patient Knows That They Are the Focus !!! Before I left the Hospital, Rehab was Discussed, but the Hospital, Felt Due My Weakened Condition a Nursing Placement Would Be Better. I Have A Very Very Lengthy Medical History and I’m Very Religious!!!! “GOD” Has Put Some Very Very Good Medical Professionals in My Life) So P/T at the Hospital said I’m going Recommend Rehab in Shiloh, Illinois It’s Very Intense, but I Think They Will Help You !! When I Arrived I Couldn’t Hold My Head Up, I Was Wearing a Neck Collar :Requiring Total Care !! Couldn’t Walk, Slurred Speech, Couldn’t Turn Myself While in Bed, Needed A Bedpan,My Diet Was Soft Foods Because Chewing was Painful, My Muscles Just Stopped Working, They Suspected A Muscular Myopathy!!!! I Was At The Right Place !! After Starting Some New Medications and Removing Some, Attending Physical, Speech and Restorative Therapy!!!! MAN THERAPY AND THE THERAPIST, MAN !!! They Work You Out !!!! You Body Will Begin to Get Stronger!!! After A Few Days the Neck Collar wasn’t Needed, I felt Physically Stronger able to Stand then Began to Walk and Climb Stairs, Move around in Bed Freely, Started Propelling Myself in My Wheelchair then Walking with Walker Gait belt and The Therapist, Which Then Lead to Walking with the Therapist!!! I Enjoyed My Therapy So, I would just Stay over in the Gym to Attend other Therapy Groups, The Doctors were always Around, Checking Your Progress, Ordering Labs !! Dr. Sabatino Knew What My Medical Condition Was Before it was Diagnosed and Confirmed!!! Then They KICKED ME OUT 😂😂 No They Put Me Out !! All Those Wonderful People My Nurses, My Doctors, Therapists, Medical Techs, Dietician and Dietary Staff, Housekeepers, Receptionist Even The Administrative Staff !!! I Still Miss Them 😞 I Arrived There On a Stretcher and Walked Out !!! YES IF REHAB IS NEEDED THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO BE !!! I Wish Patients Everywhere Could Receive This Kind of Therapy, Where You Actually Come Out BETTER !!!! The ENTIRE STAFF IS WONDERFUL, HAPPY AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! This Rehab Center Is the Best Rehab in Illinois !!!! Thanks Dr. Sabatino and Staff !!!!! You Guys Are All Wonderful !!!!
