I started my 2/week PT sessions on 8/8/22 for severe lumbar back issues. Matt Irwin, Clinic Manager, and Assistant Kelly Menten set me up with series of exercises, which were modified as time went on, to try and maximize results. My right backside became more of an issue, so further adjustments were made. I had, had an injection for my left side, which with the therapy, became less of an issue. Another follow up visit with my back doctor resulted in needing a second injection for my right side. Since the therapy had reached " all they could do for now", I am doing home exercises, and will see how the next injection works. All in all, the folk's at the Shorewood, Il. APT clinic are very professional, thorough, in explaining everything. Thanks.

This was the first time I had to go to physical therapy. Matt is a knowledgeable therapist who cares about his patients. Matt and the staff are friendly and helped me with my shoulder issues. Thank you. Highly recommend Athletico in Shorewood.

Great people!

There are few places I trust with my health, but the staff at Athletico won me over. I came in stiff and an unable to easily perform my normal everyday tasks. Within a month they had me operating back at 90% percent! There is still some healing to go, yet I know with their instructions I’ll be back to pain free lifestyle sooner than I expected. The only thing I would change about the experience is to possibly update the decor in the building. Healthcare should be modern and sleek.

Athletico of Shorewood is the best in Physical Therapy! Kelly and Matt not only provide excellent therapy each and every time I visit, they also are friendly beyond belief. They have a genuine concern for the patients and they also provide good at home exercises and stretches that one can do to help you in your rehab when you are not at the facility. The assistants like Porscha and the office manager Morgan just make the whole experience very enjoyable. If you need PT in the Shorewood/Joliet area Athletico of Shorewood is the only place to go!

This has been my second round of PT at this facility specifically and my third experience at an Athletico. These warmly welcoming and extremely competent professionals do not disappoint. They are consistently kind, helpful and sincerely interested in improving their patients' health. At a time in one's healing when a caring and capable companion means so much, the folks at Athletico more than fill the bill! My ever thanks again to Matt and Kelly for their many efforts to restore my well being.

I was forced to use Athletico by my new insurance. I am soooo glad this happened! I have used them twice now. Very professional, personable and knowledgeable. The therapists are great as is the entire staff. The individualized attention is so much better than the other place that I had been too. They allow flexibility for my terrible schedule and truly listen to my needs! I will use them again.
