List of Daniel Cha's Reviews
Dr. Cha and his staff saved me from misery. I had a 3 year battle with insurance to cover the Intrcept procedure for lower back pain. I wound up paying out of pocket and it was worth it as my back pain is reduced. Dr. Chas has great bedside manner and the staff has been great!
I had been suffering for over a year with with thinning of my spine. I had several procedures done, but all had failed until my best friend recommended Dr Daniel Cha to me. He performed the Vertiplex procedure on my back & I have received instant relief. I had muscle pain & nerve pain in my leg and also felt as if everything in my back was sitting right on my tailbone. The very next day all of this pain is gone. Dr Cha & his staff were all very professional & pleasant during the time that I was there. I am so thankful for them.
Dr. Cha and Araceli, thank you for your concern and bedside manner before, during and after my procedures. Your skills and abilities have provided me with excellent medical care. I appreciate your wisdom and experience as you continue to treat my healthcare issues. Araceli, thanks for your support and encouragement.
I have had back pain and leg for several years that became progressively worse over time and for the past few weeks severe. Dr Cha performed the (MILD) Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression procedure at 2 areas of my spine. I felt significantly better within hours of the procedure. Now three days later 90% of my leg and back pain have subsided. It also resolved much of the foot pain I did not realize was spine related. The outcome has been just short of a miracle. Definitely life changing. Dr Cha and his team are the rock stars of back pain relief in my book. I could not be happier with the entire process. Great medical team with incredible results.
I have had chronic back pain due to severe spinal stenosis that has gotten progressively worse. Dr Cha has provided different minimally invasive options to avoid surgery. He and his staff are very caring, compassionate and responsive to the needs of the patient.
I have been experiencing chronic back pain for years. Dr. Cha was very attentive and provided me with a few options to deal with this current flare. He was patient and listened to my concerns. His staff was very helpful and compassionate. I arrived in tears and left with hope.
Dr. Cha here isn't really concerned with helping patients. He's more concerned with recommending unnecessary procedures that cost a lot of money. I explained to him that I have severe and difficult to deal with trigger points and I was only looking for trigger point injections. He even saw that I have very difficult and hard trigger points. However, for some reason he saw fit to want to go with a nuclear option and recommend facet joint injections when I have no issues with the bones in my neck and he did this after wasting almost 45 minutes of my time during which I made it very clear that I was only interested in trigger point injections for my neck and upper back. If you're looking for proper care where the doctor actually listens to what you have to say and seems to want to go the extra mile to try and help you avoid this practice. Dr. Cha will simply bog you down with useless procedures that are very expensive to charge insurance and will likely result in expensive copays. Reply to owner: Demands? I made no demands. I rationally explained my issues and asked for simple and reasonable treatment. You chose to insist and demand that I go forward with an option I clearly stated I didn't want, need, or was interested in.
Has been my pain management doctor for too many years to count. Total knowledge of the spinal system, and reactions, and care of it...A+
Wow! Dr. Cha and his staff are absolutely amazing. BACKGROUND STORY: Extreme Pain for Months I had extreme sciatica pain, and was referred to NorthShore for a cortisone epidural. Their first opening was 6-7 weeks from pain onset, and the pain really affected my ability to grocery shop and participate in normal activities without pain. I pre-registered with NorthShore, and went over all of my meds. My wife and I took a day off, so she could drive me to and from the appointment. I was on an anti-biotic, and although disclosed prior to the appointment, AND it was in my medical record, NorthShore refused to do the procedure, citing "patient safety." Their first appointment was another 2 weeks (9 weeks from pain onset). DR. CHA'S OFFICE: HOW THEY SOLVED MY PAIN PROBLEM I contacted Dr. Cha's office and his office staff got me an initial consult 4 DAYS after my call, with the epidural scheduled on the 5th day. Dr. Cha's staff was easy to deal with, accommodating, and the epidural provided much needed relief. CONCLUSION 5 days (Dr. Cha) for an appointment is very reasonable. 7-9 weeks after excruciating pain (NorthShore) is not. I felt like a number, and as a consumer, I will do business with the best provider. Dr. Cha had a deep understanding of my pain and truly cared about my comfort, as indicated in his initial consult, conversation the day of the procedure, and follow up appointment. Without hesitation, if (when) my pain returns, Dr. Cha is going to be my go-to person. His practice is small and he is close to patient problems, without being bogged down by bureaucracy. He is a G-dsend!
Just had my first visit with Dr Cha. Great experience. I have seen several other pain management doctors in the past and Dr Cha is tops. I world strongly recommend him to anyone

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
