Please beware with this urologist. I recommend not to see him. He does not treat any other patient like his patients. My dad was referred to Dr. Merrick by Dr. Meadows since my dad's primary urologist could not see him that day. I tried to tell this doctor about my dad's complaint but I kept on being interrupted. This doctor said that he was not familiar with the patient and just see Dr. Meadows on his next appointment. Did not even bother to see or read my dad's file/chart. Unbelievable. I have a lot of respect to doctors but not to him. His actions are totally unacceptable. Very disrespectful and no human dignity at all. If I can put negative 100 / no star at all I would gladly have done it.

If I can just put negative 100 / no star at all I would. Please beware beware not to go to this urologist. My dad's case was he has problem with voiding and has been dribbling intermittently after his surgery. It gets to a point where he could not void and suffered bladder pains. He was advised by his primary urologist that if it happens again to go to the clinic not the ER anymore and he will be taken cared of. So when my dad urgently needed to see Dr. Meadows he was referred to Dr. Merrick since his primary urologist couldn't see him that day. My dad and I told Dr. Merrick what was going on. I just could not believe that this urologist wouldn't treat any other patient like his patient. He told us that he was not familiar with him and just wait to see Dr. Meadows on his next appointment. Did not even looked / read my dad's chart. Not even 5 mins that he spent with my dad. Unbelievable. No human dignity at all. I have a lot of respect to doctors but his actions are unacceptable. Spread the word. Don't see this doctor.

Do not visit this doctor or office. I should have listened to all the reviews and picked a different doctor. First appointment: going in for consistent UTI’s. This is 2 weeks after I initially felt the symptoms, and took medication. So when they insisted on testing the urine, of course it was going to be gone. Then to “rule out” anything else, wanted me to get an ultrasound. $400 later, get an ultrasound and all looks fine. 3 months later now, I have another UTI, and I call to see if he will call in a prescription for me. Nope, have to come in and get a urine test. FINE. But then I ask how long until I can get medication after the culture comes back...2 days. If you have had a UTI, you know you need relief asap. Its hard to bear hours let alone days. So you and I are better off going to the closest emergency clinic/minute clinic, getting a culture and getting medication within an hour. Do not go to this joke of an office who’s doctors visits cost upwards of $200 alone

I was very happy with Dr. Merrick's level of care, and bedside manner. Definitely recommend.

I'm astonished by the negative ratings for Dr. Merrick. He's been my urologist for 7 or 8 years and I find him to be outstanding in every measure of doctor-patient relationships. He's professional, efficient, and personable. He explains things well and never rushes to get out of the room. His staff is friendly and efficient. The waiting room can be cramped--it's small--but patients tend to be considerate of each other and the wait times have been brief, in my experience.

On 09/19/16 this Dr Merrick was performing my prostrate biopsy but became extremely furious after I made an unfavorable coment about his installations, he knoked off his ultrasound monitor and begun stabbing or punching my prostate through my annus so violently with the ultrasound probe and the needle like a perverted butcher in front of the horrified personal or assistants trying to reconnect the monitor, and my screams of pain and blood every where. After he finished he only screamed to me " why you don't talk no more!!! TALK NOW"!! In agony due to the excruciating pain I couldn't say a word in fear for my safety. As an immigrant I'm used to suffer abuse but this one is unforgettable and unforgiving and I'm making it public now to avoid any body else from suffering this maniacal torture.

unfortunately I visited this "Dr" Merrick and he almost killed me, after i visited this guy I had sick and I went to the hospital for one week and I was in intensive care, and also I still taking therapy for more than two months I can I cannot believe this Dr. it's terrible this is the worst thing happened in my hole live, I don't want to to see this doctor anymore. Be careful people don't go to see this doctor One more thing when he see Insurance he charge a lot of money OMG amazing

This is a very professional office and doctor. Dr. Merrick and his staff are courteous and efficient and take the time to explain things. I feel very fortunate to be in such capable and conscientious hands.
