List of David M. Shore's Reviews
I scheduled the soonest available appointment with Dr. Shore about 3 months ago and specifically asked if they took my insurance and was told that they do. Now, one week out from the appointment I receive a call that my insurance is not accepted there and that they will not be able to see me. I asked if there was another doctor in the group or if they could call another office to explain the situation so I may be able to be seen sooner. The office personal (Laura) said they would speak to the doctor and would call back if they are able to do something, I asked if she can call back regardless and was told yes. I'm guessing that was just compassionless lip service as I still have not heard back. Well now I set up a new appointment with another Urologist and am now waiting another 3 months. If looking to extend your health issues 6+ months then Dr. Shore is a great way to go. If you want compassionate care, look elsewhere.
Dr. Shore is awesome.
The worst medical office to visit, ever! Rude and totally indifferent staff. By the way the doctor is not much to talk about either. Zero personality. Cold as ice in terms of his bedside manners go. They are interested only in one thing, one thing only, just to take your money!!!! Avoid this place at all cost.
Terrible bedside manner, won't answer questions. No follow up phone calls. Has a delicate ego. Find another urologist.
Wonderful doctor. Friendly and professional.
Back in 2017, I had a Cystoscopy done as I had frequent trips to the bathroom. After this exam, which was most uncomfortable, he was quick to opt to perform a Turp procedure for an enlarged prostate, with little explanation possible complications. I had urination issues after the surgery and went to another Urologist at a different Hospital Group and performed the same Cystoscopy with little discomfort and was told I have now have scar tissue that is now causing the partial blockage.
I have been a patient of dr David Mutchnik for several years, but today I stoped by to make a an appointment to see him for somewhat an urgent matter. However, the place looked like a zoo with people sitting and waiting around and talking as if they were in a meeting place. I approached the glass window to see if I can talk with the receptionist , but I was totally ignored for about 10 minutes without even acknowledgment that I existed. This little rather young looking africain American girl had closed the glass window and was starting into her computer monitor. Finally I had to say something like I'm I being ignored? She finally opened the sliding window and told me that she had been waiting on another patient ahead of me and If I can sit there and wait until she's available, or better yet go home and call to make an appointment. Frankly I felt like I could have told her few choice words of my own but I left without waiting or talking to "her highness" the B...h from Hell. I will never set foot in that place again for having been treated as if I didn't count at all. This girl definitely had an attitude probland I will do my best to denounce this clinic as best as I can.

Thanks to Dr. Shore's snap opinion "Let's do a TURP" -- without any diagnostics other than a slightly elevated PSA, I was forced to educate myself and learn what a terrible doctor he is. There's websites with men who have had these issues and discuss what works for them. When I asked about alternatives, he rejected them out of hand. I guess he makes more money on doing TURPs? Or is too lazy to learn new less harmful, less invasive procedures? I have found a new URO who is not so trigger happy
Based on a slightly elevated PSA test and NOTHING MORE he told me to have a TURP procedure. No cytoscopy, no testing of any kind. He rejected any talk of less invasive alternatives and did not mention any of the risks involved in a TURP.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
