List of Gordon R. Gluckman's Reviews
Can’t say enough good things about Dr Gluckman. Both my husband and I have been seen by him several times and appreciate his medical expertise and awesome demeanor. He has a wonderful way of explaining everything and always putting you at ease. Best urologist and we highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Gluckman!
Took time with me and was very good about answering questions. Very kind!
At the end of mlb season, they award the best defensive players the Golden Glove Award. Dr. Gordon Gluckman should be awarded the Golden Cystoscopy of the year. I had to see Dr. Gluckman because I had an overactive bladder. My bladder and prostate were enlarged, and there was so much pressure pushing on them. I’d try to urinate but it took five minutes for anything to come out, plus it was very painful. I only had a weak stream coming out. After my cystoscopy I felt like a new man. I’m able to urinate immediately with a full stream, and I no longer feel any pressure in my bladder. Dr. Gluckman has an amazing bedside manner not to mention a great personality. When he explains something, he does it in Layman’s terms. If you experience any of the symptoms I just described, please contact Dr. Gluckman immediately. I can’t wait to see him getting the Golden Cystoscopy Award, for Urologist of the year.
Dr. Gordon Gluckman is an excellent Urologist and I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. I had a mass on my right kidney and he took the time to explain my situation and all of my options and outcomes. He was very kind and patient when speaking with me and my family. On the day of my surgery he again explained the process and made me and my family feel at ease. I never doubted that I was in excellent hands with Dr. Gluckman.
Dr. Gluckman and his staff are extraordinary.I want to thank them for showing me such care.I only wish I had gone to see Dr. Gluckman sooner than I did.I suffered greatly for a long time with BPH along with all of its horrible side effects.Dr. Gluckman performed a procedure called TURP. I can now say that after the surgery life is good again, so once more I say from the heart, thank you Dr. Gluckman for taking care of me.
Dr Gluckman and his staff are extraordinary. I want to thank them for showing me such care. I suffered terribly with BPH for years, finally i received a procedure called TURP. Life after TURP cannot be expressed easily so let me simply say thank you Dr. Gluckman and your wonderful staff for making my life good again.
I have taken my father to see Dr Gluckman for many years and my father had done very well under his care. Dr. Gluckman helped my father navigate through urination flow issues and then prostate cancer. Throughout my father’s treatments, Dr. Gluckman’s expertise and thoroughness was appreciated and his approach and guidance were spot-on. Dr. Gluckman is extremely patient and considerate. I have never felt rushed in his presence and he always makes time to answer my father’s and the family’s questions. The admin staff is top-notch as well helping us to re-schedule appointments and other logistics, sometimes with minimal notice. My father’s hearing is impaired but both Dr. Gluckman and the staff talk to my father slowly and loudly to make sure he understands. Our family saw multiple urologists (other practices) initially, until we settled on Dr. Gluckman. Once you meet him you will understand that he is easily head and shoulders above the rest.
I came to Dr. Gluckman in crisis mode, as I don’t typically enjoy or even gravitate towards visits to the doctor’s office. As an older male, in my late 60’s, I had been experiencing prostate issues for approximately 10 years, consisting primarily of trouble urinating. I admittedly don’t drink the recommended amount of water each day, but have mostly accepted the fact that I was getting older and things don’t work like I’m 18 anymore. I ultimately experienced an “all-stop” and needed a catheter to empty the tank as my both my bladder and prostate were significantly enlarged. After consulting with Dr. Gluckman, and considering what my options were, I elected to proceed with a “TURF” surgery to trim away excess prostate tissue. The doctor diligently described the risks and expectations as a result of the operation, however, I thought that I would be the exception to the recovery rule, I was not. Post operation days 1-3, I had a catheter inside and wasn’t in what one would describe as a significant amount of pain, rather, just uncomfortable; slower movements, light bleeding, but nothing that was out of the ordinary (as per what Dr. Gluckman had advised me of). Post catheter removal on post operation day 4 is when the pain level began to intensify; the need to urinate increased significantly as I was probably urinating once an hour, every hour, for approximately four days. This was accompanied with a burning sensation and pains when I needed to urinate, both incredibly uncomfortable and painful. I also experienced trouble falling asleep, as the minute I began dozing, I subsequently had to get up to relieve myself. The doctor had described what type of side effects I might be experiencing, but I thought this was just the standard precautionary covering of possible scenarios. I was relieved that I didn’t have to carry my catheter, but I thought that I’d be “good as new” in a few days – when the doctor says, 3-6 weeks – next time you should probably listen to him. Be aware of the TURF procedure though, this is a slower recovery, it definitely does take time. I can proudly say, that every day it gets a little bit better and I’m feeling an extra year younger every day. Thank you Dr. Gluckman – you did an amazing job and I’m feeling better than I have in 20 years – highly recommend!
Dr. Gluckman treated me as well as any doctor can during a tough crisis. He communicated my condition and provided me the available options. He was trustworthy and explained everything perfectly. He did a fantastic job with my condition and with my surgery. I would absolutely recommend him for any urological needs you may have.
For years, I'd been dealing with issues of frequency and urgency of urination that had been treated -- I guess at my insistence, believing this was just an inevitable part of aging -- with minimal intervention (basically, meds and Depends). Dr. Gluckman took a different, more aggressive approach after I'd endured a blockage. Result of his non-traumatic surgical procedure: Everything works, the Depends are gone and the one remaining med is being phased out. Along with competence, Dr. Gluckman exudes a reassuring confidence and a refreshing frankness. I never want to see him again, of course, aside from a scheduled follow-up check -- but if the time comes, he's the man.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
