List of Matthew A. Meadows's Reviews
The Doctor was rude, no pt care etiquette, lacking manners. You can tell he was very arrogant. He was not interested to hear your full history and lacked sincerity. The only one toilet seat they have was gross, patient urine visible all over the seat. The bathroom door is broken and you can not even lock it. The person who let me in said, “don’t worry, no one will open it!”. I didn’t feel the much needed privacy when you are using a toilet. I will not recommend this practice to my friends and family. I work in a hospital where doctors and nurses are caring and know to respect people. Our clientele is very diverse and we care for them equally the same.
I was very disappointed with my visit. I visited him in mid-June [2021] due to persistent irritation/pain that had been troublesome enough to interfere with [as in, "prohibit"] biking, working out, work, and anything having to do with sex. To his credit, he examined me pretty thoroughly, ordered a PSA and urine test, asked some questions, and listened to me with something between moderate patience and slight impatience. The most disappointing part was that, when all was said and done, he essentially said "looks fine to me"--no curiosity, no theory, no advice [besides using moisturizer], no nothing. That seemed crazy to me, when both my GP and the urgent care doc I first saw seemed far more concerned, curious, and interested in helping me and recognizing that something's wrong.
I had an ongoing kidney infection told me to go see a chiropractor. He didn’t even entertain my issue. The office called me a MONTH LATER to tell me I had a UTI. horrible experience. Would not recommend.
Dr. Meadow's bedside manner is just awful. He seemed very aloof both times I saw him and didn't really seem interested in listening to what I had to say nor in answering the questions I asked. Honestly, he's a typical surgeon. I would not recommend him. I would like to believe their are better urologists in Chicago.
I presented to Dr. Meadows during the summer of 2017 w/ a 5mm kidney stone, gross hematura, frequent UTIs and back pain. Testing confirmed the stone. Dr. Meadows was condescending & belittling. In addition, my appts were exasperated by lost or misplaced medical records. When I finally had lithotripsy on a Friday afternoon, Dr. Meadows left and was unreachable when the following day complications ensued that send me to the ER. I would not recommend Dr. Meadows for medical care.
Didn't listen to me at at all. Tried to tell me it is normal for some men to have pain with ejaculation. Also didn't see anything wrong with me having to go to the bathroom upwards of 20 times per day! Typical HMO garbage doctor.
Professional, but has ZERO bedside manner. Leaves my questions half-answered. Dr Meadows was very rude.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Meadows. He is very educated and he was able to help me with my problem.
Doesn't listen to the patient.Appears to be cocky and demeaning.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
