I really liked Dr Borkowski when I met her. Unfortunately, my insurance won't accept her as a fertility doc so I had to pivot. I've been so unhappy about this, and I wish I could have been her patient.
My sweet girl is living proof of how wonderful Dr. Borkowski and her team are. Their care, concern, support and expertise brought my dream kiddo to life and I am so thankful for them.
Appointments tend to run behind schedule, but the staff is great! Dr. Borkowski has great bedside manner.
I had a disappointing experience with this clinic. To start, I never felt like I got my questions fully answered. I always felt rushed and like I was inconveniencing them. I also found them hard to get a hold of and actually have them call me back. Twice I had asked them to send medical records to my other doctors and in both cases, it took many times of me calling back and following up for them to send them.
Dr. Borkowski really cares for her patients!
Dr. Borkowski is one in a million. She is the perfect combination of knowledge and empathy. She is easy to talk to, which isn't always easy to find when working with someone who is so established in their field. She is very generous with her time. I have been going to her clinic for more than three years, and although we have not been successful with a live birth (we did get pregnant twice), she has been such a light in uncertain and dark times. She passionately supports her patients. What a special woman.
Thank you for Dr. Anne, Jenny, and all of the North Shore Fertility Team. North Shore Fertility made our perfect baby possible. Our baby is happy and healthy. At the time of our baby's birth I (mom) was 41 years of age and the dad's sperm was 39 years old. North Shore Fertility's office staff are just as kind, dependable, and understanding too. When we went to North Shore Fertility we had already been to other fertility practices without success. They made our baby dreams possible. Thank you North Shore Fertility!
I made the decision to freeze my eggs with North Shore Fertility even though it's outside the city bc the reviews were better than the others my insurance provider listed closer to where I live. With such a big life choice/decision, I felt this was important. I was not disappointed! The staff was so friendly and down to earth. The Dr. was accessible and I had an incredible outcome. I would and will recommend them to anyone looking for a fertility provider!
Despite being emotional from the experience of infertility, I felt incredibly let down by this office. 1. The owner was very available and friendly until after I signed on- then her time was seemingly more valuable- instead of answering the calls or texts that she invited prior to me a signing on, now I was told to make an appointment to discuss simple questions. There was one exception where she spent time with me after I signed on - for the one call she made to clean up the receptionists poor judgement - she then was cloyingly sweet but still incredibly condescending. 2. The office is disorganized. Appointment times were given and written on the little reminder cards only for me to arrive and be asked what I was doing there. These are timely appointments related to your cycle and cannot be adjusted. This happened twice and both appointments were then rushed. 3. There is zero patient education. I never left with any written instructions about next steps or medications I was being prescribed. There is no portal where this information is accessible either. 4. The staff is cold. I heard that each of these people who work there have experienced *infertility* themselves and therefore it should have been an overly empathetic and warm situation. Totally opposite. Very minimal communication. 5. Got the skeezy in it only for the $$$ vibe. I came there sharing that I wanted to do IVF. Im a nurse and my partner a physician. We're self pay. There is no insurance red tape and we understand the processes. Instead of discussing plans for what we wanted, I was pushed into doing 5 medicated rounds and then after they all failed, encouraged for our next step to be IUI. I didn't want any of that. I came through the door saying I did not want to do IUI. I kept being told that "it's so much cheaper to do this way...." Hmmm.... I'm pretty sure we need IVF and the 12k+ it will end up being for these cycles/ 3-4 IUI will just be a bonus for your pockets on top of the IVF costs. Crap logic. 7. The cost for a transvaginal ultrasound was almost 1K. At my new clinic it's $180. I'm sure there could be more to say honestly, but this is enough. Turns out the only benefit to choosing NorthShore Fertility was a shorter drive to the clinic. After my experience switching to Advanced Fertility Centers of Chicago, their warm and inviting nature, combined with professionalism-that permeates from the top down , just really shines even more light on just how crappy Northshore is..... I would NEVER encourage anyone to go to Northshore. Funny side note, I had an X-ray on my knee recently and the tech and I were chatting, turns out she used Northshore and completely agreed!!! Specifically named Jennifer for being cold and aloof and disorganized. Totally unapologetic. If I could give zero stars I would.
Dr bikowski and her stuff are amazing I had a successful ivf with her after 4 ivf cycle not successful with other fertility center with this clinic first time I had mi angles so go to this clinic and rich you dream.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
