I had a very positive experience with this clinic and I’m truly grateful to the entire team. I was guided by Dr. Elena Trukhacheva throughout the whole process, and I really appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail, and clear approach. I was always in touch with the nurses — they were responsive, supportive, and answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. Thanks to their coordinated care and effort, I am now pregnant, and everything is progressing well. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for attentive and results-driven care.
I had a very positive experience with RMI and Dr. Nayak. I thought the phlebotomists and ultrasound techs (who you see often for infertility treatments) were warm and encouraging. The nurses responded promptly to any and all questions. I went through 2 IUIs, 2 egg retrievals, and had a successful embryo transfer, resulting in a healthy pregnancy and the birth of my daughter. Infertility is so difficult to navigate and RMI is a good team to trust for this journey.
IVF is an unbelievably difficult process. It is difficult mentally, physically and emotionally. The team at RMI was not only extremely knowledgeable, but they made me feel supported and cared for in ways I haven’t experienced in any other medical office. Dr.Nayak and Nurse Ellie did an amazing job at letting me know exactly what to expect during every round (I did a total of 4). They are the best at what they do, but they are also extremely thoughtful humans who held space for my every single emotion at every single consultation. Nurse Chrissy was my nurse. She responded to every question I had (whether by email or phone) and I had many! And even when the questions were repetitive and only meant to reassure me, she answered right away and took every “is this normal” concern seriously. Raven, who did my bloodwork, never left a single bruise (and there is a lot of bloodwork!) and made sure I chuckled a little during every visit. The ultrasound tech, Christine, was as knowledgeable as she was sweet. Lastly, and most importantly, Rachel, who works the front desk, was an angel. When we go through IVF, kindness and understanding goes such a long way and she always welcomed me with a smile, accommodated me when I ran late, scheduled and rescheduled appointments, all wit a smile… I am now entering my 9th week and just graduated from RMI. They will forever be such a beautiful part of this difficult journey and I am eternally grateful!
Truly an amazing staff all around rather it was at the Skokie office or Oakbrook. I always felt comfortable and they were easy to talk to when making small talk. If it wasn’t for RMI and Dr. Nayak, I wouldn’t be in the position I am now. There was a part of me that had lost hope, after two unsuccessful IVF cycles, but with Dr. Nayak and her team, we figured out a plan, she listen to my concerns and I can now say we are expecting a little miracle in the fall. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for giving me hope again.
We’ve been trying to schedule an appointment with one of the doctors for weeks and completed the requested forms prior to scheduling. After weeks of silence, apparently the credit card authorization didn’t go through, instead of reaching back out to verify the information, we were told “i would of expected you sent over valid card information.” Why blame your patients and get defensive when we ask why no one just gave us a ring or even an email following up on the information? Mind you, we’ve already gone through one round of IVF with them a few years ago, and they have our embryos in their storage and tbh starting to feel like it’s being held hostage at this point. — Please make sure to do your due diligence with verifying your medication, dosage, and scheduling of it, as when I was previously a patient, the nurse assigned to me screwed it up multiple times and I had to request a new one. This is very concerning as it was during my egg growth phase and could have really jeopardized that round of IVF.
The RMI team at Skokie has been nothing but supportive, communicative, and compassionate during my journey with them. They go above and beyond for their patients and really focus on YOU during your entire time with them.
Dr. Nayak is the best!, thanks to the amazing team at Reproductive Medicine Institute, my wife is now 5 months pregnant. This place is truly incredible. The nurses and all the staff are so kind, caring, and supportive. Every nurse we met was nice, patient, and great at what they do. The entire team made us feel comfortable and hopeful during a very challenging journey. I had a great experience from start to finish. We are so grateful to be a part of this clinic. They are truly amazing, and we absolutely recommend them to anyone struggling with infertility. We are already planning to return for our second baby, and we hope to come back again for our next journey toward baby number two. Thank you, Dr. Nayak, and thank you to all the wonderful nurses and staff — you all are truly amazing.🌺🌺🌺
I had one of the worst experience with RMI, spend 9 months with no retrieval and failed IUI. What a waste of time. They failed to inform me that I have cyst, monitoring cyst was included in my insurance and yet I was asked to pay for the scans, which they are not going to refund me. I have been following up for year now to get my refunds on what extra I paid. Every time I asked them to send me detail on all the payments I have made and how much was insurance claimed but they have been making excuses. Guess I won’t get my refund ever!
Dr. Nayak and her team were great! She is incredibly caring and willing to work with what you want. Nurses and front desk staff were wonderful too :)
I switched doctors after 3 unsuccessful rounds of IVF. Here is what RMI (Dr. Nayak’s team) did that made a difference: -they made me do more tests to figure out the real issues, instead of just saying “maybe it’s the sperm.” They ruled out issues. It was annoying and I’ve spend hours and hours on the phone with fertility med centers and pharmacies, but it was worth it. -they pushed me more physically to produce more eggs and updated my meds more-more frequent appointments -Dr. Nayak scoured my 4 years’ history to figure out a highly personalized plan for me Don’t expect a lot of “I’ll pray for yous” and super warm treatment-although Dr. Nayak is very kind, I have not had much one-on-one interaction with her. This is a public post, and it is still early on, but we can say that our treatment with Dr. Nayak answered our prayers and has changed our lives positively forever—with a number of hopeful options to keep growing our family.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
