List of Robert Channon's Reviews
Dr. channon is an excellent psychiatrist in Chicago. He is sharp, kind and caring. In addition to recommending medication, he is always interested in me as a human being. He listens with empathy and is generous with offering feedback and wisdom. I see him as a private patient, he accepts Medicare and “goes the extra mile”. I appreciate his ability to listen and be a kind Professional.
EXCEPTIONAL! I feel very lucky to have Dr. Channon as my Psychiatrist! He knows the medications, prescribes the best treatments. He “goes the extra mile”by listening deeply to his patients. He cares, has a kind, empathic style. He offers wise advice and is extremely supportive and smart. A rare psychiatrist who, in addition, accepts Medicare. Beverly Frank, Private Practice Patient
Dr Channon is not the doctor I want to see ever. He's always late and I mean like 30-40 minutes late and expects you to be on his schedule. He's also rude. He takes phone calls all the time during my schedule session, checks his phone every minute, and doesn't seem interested in anything I have to say. I'm stuck with him for now but if you can avoid him, do it!
I have found doctor Channon to be a compassionate professional who has helped me through my addiction.
My 3 months w/ Dr. Channon's were troubling. He seemed to be more interested in putting me on his off label Baclofen trial than he seemed tlconcerned with helping me in my fight against depression and addiction. I met one of his Residents' recently, and I was referred to him by an old friend who were both shocked to hear my assessment, Best case scenario is that I met him at the wrong time for me, with the right problem for his agenda. I feel guilty for not speaking out earlier.
Dr. Channon is calm, funny, and caring. He listens carefully to what you say and works with you on plans to help you feel better.
Dr. Channon is a pleasant and caring doctor who clearly cares about his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
