When I found out I had cataracts in both eyes. I was very nervous not knowing what was going to happen but see a surgeon. I met Dr. Goli whom I like to refer to as Dr. AMAZING. He made me feel at ease understanding everything I needed to know. His Staff at Jacksonville IL Prairie Eye & Lasik Center were all so gracious and the same at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. What an outstanding group of people at both places. I can now see 20/20 vision in both eyes. Amazing. With Dr. Goli everything went smoothly. I feel so Blessed.

My mother Glenda had cataract surgery on both eyes this month by Dr. Goli. She has gone from being almost blind to having 20/20 vision in both eyes. Dr Goli’s treatment of my cataracts via surgery at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital was astoundingly great. He replaced my natural cataract laden lenses with AcrySol IQ Vivity UV IOL lenses. They are a major upgrade to the standard lenses and, although an added expense, are wort every penny. I rate them a superb value. After 35 years and at age 71, I’m finally free from needing glasses full time with a visual acuity of 20/15. The surgery was completed as an outpatient procedure. From registration to release was a very short amount of time and was a comfortable and positive experience. Pre op activities included checking vitals, consulting with the Anesthesiologist, and a final check-in by Dr. Goli. Dr. Goli’s prep and surgical teams are impressively trained, compassionate and competent. All surgical procedures and recovery were completely without discomfort and totally painless. I attribute that to Dr. Goli’s meticulous work, professional and succinctly pleasant demeanor along with his vast experience. He is a supremely gifted surgeon. I highly endorse and recommend Dr. Goli if you require the services of an Ophthalmologist. I had cataract surgery recently. Dr Goli took plenty of time explaining the procedure. All went very well, results are amazing!! Recovery instructions were very easy to understand and to do. I am VERY happy I did both eyes. I HIGHLY recomend Dr Goli.
