After reading all of the comments on how the doctor listened to them and was caring, I feel maybe I saw him on the wrong day. The doctor certainly did not listen to all of my concerns closely. I had to switch doctors because my PCP moved out of state. I was impressed by the info I reviewed on line. I decided to see Dr Abbas for a check up and a new patient meeting. This doctor does not believe in meds. He took me off a couple of meds and wanted me to see two specialists…a sleep study doctor and a surgeon gastroenterologist. I explained to him I only snore when I drink alcohol…I even called my girlfriend and had her on speaker phone stating that I only snored when I drink…Abbas could care less and wanted me to do a sleep study. Since seeing him 5 months ago, I’ve gained 30 lbs because he took me off a diet pill that my other PCP had prescribed ~ that pill was working great ~ Abbas wanted to send me to a gastroenterologist for possible surgery. The worst doctor I’ve ever encountered

Dr. Abbas took a lot of time and thoroughly went through every question/issue I had. This was the most thorough physical I have ever had and he will now be my primary care provider.

Today was my first contact with Dr. Abbas. I felt very comfortable with him and look forward to being a patient of his. I felt that Dr Abbas is very knowledgeable and I appreciated that I wasn't left feeling rushed with my exam.
