I have been going here for years. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The place is always clean. I have been with Shauna for a couple of surgery's now and i am so thankful for her help , support and caring. It is so rewarding to see the progress i make. The other physical therapists are just as nice when they fill in . The girls in front , Nicole and Kelly are wonderful, cheerful and friendly. They all make you feel so comfortable. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you Athletico !
I couldn't be happier with our experience here. Everyone at the front desk is fabulous. It was a bit overwhelming trying to schedule our two girls for PT - in addition to all of the other appointments for severe scoliosis (prosthetics and orthopedics), school, my work, etc. I broke down crying the first call to try and schedule as it was a lot of additional time off of work for me and lots of time out of school for the girls. But after the initial appointment with our therapist, Karolyn, she worked with me to schedule them when it was most convenient week by week - letting me know when after school appointments opened up. She even saw both of them at once so it was less back and forth and time off of work for me. And don't get me started on Karolyn. She is the nicest, kindest person and she connected so well with each of our girls (ages 11 & 13). She was very gentle yet pushed them to succeed with their therapies. I couldn't help but to hug her at our last visit. She has helped not only our girls, but has also helped me understand how to help them and to cope with caring for them.

I've been a patient of pt for the last 30 years due to a severe car accident so I've had many surgeries on different body parts and also need therapy for ongoing back, hip and knee issues. I've worked with many therapists and tried many clinics throughout the states over the years. When I moved to St. Charles. I tried a few local clinics and within those clinics a few different therapists. Glad I found Chrissy at Athletico St. Charles west location. She's attentive, compassionate and pushes you when you need it. She's treated my husband when he hurt his back and my 10 yr old daughter increase her strength and flexibility. I can highly recommend her for dry needling, pre-op/post-op surgery and strength and conditioning. We are glad to have found her.
I just finished with my PT with Erin Koenig. She was amazing and not only helped me get stronger with my post baby body but she also educated me and helped me understand my body more. I love that she specializes in post partum care and made me feel super comfortable. Everyone there is super friendly and nice. I enjoyed all my sessions and would recommend this facility to anyone.
Went to this facility for two post op experiences and couldn't have been happier. My therapist was always willing to listen to my concerns and work with me to make sure I was comfortable. I would recommend this facility, the staff is very personal and friendly every time I come in.
They have no idea what to do for athletes or workout enthusiasts. They seem to work predominantly with after surgery patients. They were extremely inattentive. They would give me an exercise and walk away to talk to other people during your treatment session; as if it is social hour. They treated my husband the same way. I went to Innovative Sports Medicine today in Batavia who came highly recommended by an athlete friend. If you really want to know what is going on with your body and have someone who cares work with you to fix the problem, I would definitely go there instead. I was blown away by the knowledge I was given within the first 10 mins. The exercises and stretches I was given are far superior as well. I could actually feel the immediate benefits of being worked on by Dr. Hestrup.
Two bad experiences at this Athletico....After 2 weeks and $2500, I walked out of my last appointment for lower back issues and could barely sit down! The woman, , who was never very friendly, almost arrogant, had turned me over to the intern because she was busy with several patients...I know because our tables were so close we could have massaged each other!!! No privacy at all!! The intern, who was busy watching traffic rather than overseeing my routine, had me doing one exercise the wrong way but a kind, personal trainer came and corrected me. I must have done some damage to the S I joint because I could not sit down and was in incredible pain-again. Suffered through that night and then went to chiropractor and felt better in one treatment. This was my second experience. The first time was for after surgery and a male PT was about to have me do the one exercise the instructions said NOT to do. I asked him and he THEN looked at the paper work and said, Oh, ok....Stay away from this place!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
