Allows personal beliefs to dictate practice. Called as a new patient since I moved and wanted to get a refill for an old prescription that I take on occasion at a very low dose and was told that they "don't believe anyone they know or treat should take this" and literally said all controlled substances like particular prescriptions will make you a drug addict in under 5 minutes of appointment of meeting me while I was in the getting to know you portion of my medical history (in which I do NOT have a history of addiction or drug abuse. Hell, I still had a third of the previous two year old bottle. I said I was uncomfortable with their word and all medications even otcs could be abused if someone really wanted; they restated it was their personal beliefs. I ended the appointment and reported them to the clinic.

Unprofessional. When told of previous illness laughed and said she did not believe it because condition was so rare. Talked of her personal problems.
