I have been a long standing patient here and love Michele Ovando and Dr Iyengar. However I had A different PA for a wart treatment. Her bedside manner wasn’t a good fit, her follow up wasn’t great until I said I wouldnt Be back. The treatments were extraordinary painful with no success. Had a VERY rude gal at check out who asked if I could Just check out on-line and took a patient before me that came out of my treatment later as I am In tears. Finally I went To a podiatrist. Wart was gone in half the appts Derm assoc got, it wasn’t nearly as painful either. For now on I will only come back if I can See Michelle and no more wart treatments here ever. Podiatry has a much better success rate with less pain and cost.
They either overbooked their clients, or the doctors just don't care about anyones time. The wait is always 2 hours at least. Absolutely ridiculous
I am a patient of Michele Ovando. Michele always makes me very comfortable with any procedure, and today I had a procedure done and I was at ease and very comfortable. Michele's medical assistant Sandy was also very professional, and made me feel comfortable.
After almost 2 years of other doctors in Bourbonnais misdiagnosing my skin cancer, I finally reached out to this practice, and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Iyengar personally called me twice to gather information and was very confident and reassured me that I would be taken care of, and I was in good hands. He was calming and personable, which made me very comfortable. The staff was also over the top friendly and compassionate as they kept me up to date while getting medical records sent from the previous 2 practices. Dawn was the nurse I had the day of my surgery, and she was very reassuring and kind. Overall, my experience with everyone was great. I highly recommend this practice. I hope I never have to see them again. But if I do, they are my first choice. Thank you for taking such good care of me with my stressful, drawn-out situation.
I scheduled a facial with Liz whom was a nice and pleasant women. She did give me a good facial. When I left I did buy $280.00 worth of products (which I later learned I could of purchased on Amazon for half the price. YIKES I totally thought the price of the facial was included at that much money. Later to learn it was not . The ladies that checked me out did not include the price of the facial, they were too involved in laughing and texting to pay attention to what they were doing. Not my fault. I received a call to let me know 3 weeks later and said I would mail it in on payday. Had an emergency in family had to go out of town cancelled my apptmt for August 29th. The lady was so so rude when I cancelled said I owed money and can t reschedule. Hung up in my face not even giving me a chance to explain. Now I am wondering if they even gave Liz the $25.00 CASH TIP I left for her .
This was my first time going to Derm. Associates, a family friend who works there recommended it and it was awful. I'm not sure if this was a fluke or if it's the culture of the office but the nurse and PA made it seem like I was inconveniencing them the entire time. The PA spent a total of 3 minutes in the room, talked a mile a minute, didn't give a warning or anything prior to pulling down my undergarments. The overall visit was incredibly uncomfortable and when discussing treatment options did not give me time to process let alone consent to treatment, and honestly I just wanted to run out of there so fast. Some medical offices really make you feel like nothing but a number and boy did I feel like nothing but a number when I was there. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Waited almost an hour for my scheduled appointment to check my scar from a procedure they had done months ago that didn’t heal properly. Everytime I came In for a wound check after the procedure , doctor pretty much blew it off as if it would get better, even after stitches were removed and internal stitches didn’t dissolve properly. Had a good first experience with doctor Pyle but will no longer have any operations done with the surgeon.
Good doctors Taiym, Nuha
Arrived early. Waited an hour after our appointment time. Once we got into a room, we were told to get our 2 month old undressed and wait another 15 minutes. We left without being seen.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
