Kenneth Finkelstein's Online Review Report Card

I had a wonderful experience at this office and I highly recommend Dr. Kenneth Finkelstein! My quality of life has greatly improved because of him! I was experiencing some issues and getting the run around from my previous doctor who didn’t want to order or perform the necessary tests to properly diagnose me and told me that if I needed a hysterectomy it would be risky and I would have to be cut open due to the fact that I’ve had four c-sections. I thought I was just going to have to deal with the heavy, painful periods that caused me to become anemic but thank goodness a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Finkelstein! From the very first visit he knew what was wrong by the symptoms I was experiencing but still ordered and performed the necessary tests to confirm without hesitation. He assured me that there was no cure for the issues I was experiencing and that my symptoms would only get worse overtime. He recommended that I have a hysterectomy and I was so relieved when he told me he could perform the surgery laparoscopically. The procedure went well, recovery is going well, pain was very minimal, and I’m feeling so much better thanks to this amazing, knowledgeable doctor!

Dr Finkelstein has been my Doctor for more than 20 years. I trust his expertise he has even treated my adult daughter on several occasions for her ovarian cysts. I am thankful that I have such a knowledge physician. The only problem is with the office staff in the Evergreen Park office. They are very unprofessional and unorganized. If it wasn't for him I would seek treatment elsewhere

After going to 3 different doctors with no luck I found Dr. Finkelstein. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me right away. I am happy to say I am finally feeling better after almost 2 years of constant pain. I cannot thank Dr. Finkelstein enough, he has truly made my life so much better. He genuinely cares about you and your well being and takes his time to throughly explain everything and won't leave the room until all of your questions are answered. I ended up getting a hysterectomy at the age of 29. He talked me through every step of the process and while a hysterectomy sounds scary, after Dr. Finkelstein explained everything I was ready for it. He was able to keep my ovaries which means no menopause or hormonal changes! I do not regret my decision at all and am living a pain free life!

I scheduled an appointment at the Evergreen Park location to see Dr. Kenneth Finkelstein and it was a game changer. During my appointment Dr. Finkelstein was caring, concerned about my condition, a great listener, and explained how the robotic assisted procedure could remove my uterine fibroids. I never felt rushed and believe me I had plenty of questions. The procedure required 5 small incisions the size of a fingertip and a 2-inch bikini cut. I’m so glad I decided to go with the robotic assisted hysterectomy performed by Dr. Finkelstein. He was able to remove my uterus which was 10 times the normal size equivalent to a 4-month pregnancy. I was 75% recovered in just 2-weeks! After surgery, I never experienced any vaginal bleeding and I no longer had trouble with urinary incontinence. I could feel myself improving and getting better every day. I pray Dr. Finkelstein's practice will continue to stay in the community to help women of color improve their quality of life. Thank You!!

Dr. Finkelstein is very knowledgeable in his field. He can come off as overly confident and arrogant, but if you can get past that, you will be happy with his service. I’m elated that he was the one who performed my surgery. My downtime was minimal & now I’m pain free from the issues I had prior to surgery.

Dr. Finkelstein is a highly skilled, knowledgeable doctor. He has performed two surgeries on me. Great results. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

At the age of 37 I didn’t think I would be getting a hysterectomy. From start to finish Dr. Finkelstein made me feel comfortable and got we back to me. Thank you for all the you do especially how you help African American women. If you are looking for amazing care this is the place you need to be.

If you have to have a hysterectomy please see Dr. Finkelstein. He is amazing. I had the robotic hysterectomy and my recovery was speedy and smooth.

Have been suffering with female issues for years! He was very knowledgeable and to the point. He’s very confident in his practice! I highly recommend him!
