Love Dr. Semba! She is very caring and treats you like family. Patient and understanding when going through my DMX. She explained everything that I was going to go through and I had a lot of issues. I had many infections and surgeries. She went out of her way to ease my fears, very soft spoken and gives you her advice with your situation. I highly recommend her.

Dr Semba did 2 surgeries for my daughter. Her work was AMAZING! She actually calls you personally after surgeries to check on you!

I was recommended Dr Semba from a great wound care doctor that was treating me (Dr Farah Hashemi-Fakouri) so i knew i was in great hands from the start. I'm currently recovering from surgery by Dr Semba and i always feel safe. First time i spoke with her, I didn't realize i was speaking with her, I called her office after hours to just get a call in and she answered. I found it odd that a doctor wouldn't have an answering service, but that's just who she is. She is very hands on and the follow-through is second to none. Before my first consultation, she had me download Signal (app for secure texts and communication) and after that point, she has always been a text away. If you have any questions at all, she always answers. She told me that she prefers to give her patients the info when they want it, no reason to be nervous with a list of questions and address them immediately. I cannot recommend her enough.

She has a cute boutique style independent practice and they are fantastic to work with. On top of it, her surgical skills are amazing!!!! My outcome is fantastic. I was so incredibly shocked to read some of Dr. Semba’s reviews. I found her to be incredibly warm. She listened to my personal journey and asked important and insightful questions about how my medical issues came to be and info on my family and support system. She related and empathized with it. I feel completely supported And aligned with her and my path forward in medical care. I’m so grateful having had the discussion with her and her support. I’m wondering if perhaps the people who had a more negative impression had realistic goals/conversation with her. It’s that much of a disconnect.

In 2009, we arrived at Dr. Semba’s office with our newborn who was born with a cleft lip and palate. Dr. Samba’s entire team was not only knowledgeable, they were reassuring — putting our minds at ease. She performed my son’s lip repair in 2009, and his palate repair in 2010, and we could t be happier. His results are so amazing, most people don’t even realize that he ever had a cleft lip. I call Dr. Semba his “miracle worker”. His cleft was a total surprise to us, and yet we felt completely at ease in her care. I would recommend Dr. Semba to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon.
