I have been coming to Dr. Schmidt with Thyroid Eye Disease for 20 years. He has always worked closely with me to understand my condition and find ways to work with or around it. Recently, a treatment came on the market and he and his office fought, on my behalf, with the insurance company for months and eventually, that insurance company did end up paying over $150,000 for my treatment. He is an excellent doctor with an excellent staff.

Dr. Sicks is an Optometrist at Dr Schmidt’s practice. I recently had a contact lens exam with her and she is such a delight. She was thorough and caring and took the time to make sure that I was satisfied with my care. I look forward to seeing her next year!

I love my Dr. Schmidt. I sure wish I could see him again. Not sure if he is taking patients with this Covid. I'm too high risk to take chances indoors.

My parents have received excellent care from Dr. Schmidt's practice during the past nine years. After successful cataract surgery from this Dr., my dad's vision became clear even without glasses. For my mom, Dr. Schmidt has been carefully monitoring her high eye pressure condition. Fortunately, two different treatment methods have controlled the pressure. We appreciate that this Dr. takes the time to explain treatment options in a clear, understandable way. (English is my parent's second language.) We also appreciate that he encourages my mom to stay upbeat. As a daughter, I am especially thankful that he has helped my parents and treated them respectfully through the years.
