Dr.Thakkar is very knowledgeable about the surgery he performs. I asked him if the removal of thyroid would slow down the symptoms of OAB. He said that it would. He felt that the removal would most definitely slow if not stop the weight loss of my wife's body. Sounds good to me and now planning on having my wife's thyroid removed in JANUARY of next year. Wife hopefully will be feeling better after the surgery. How about that. Found a surgeon that agrees with wife's other doctors. Thanks Dr THAKKAR. My compliments to you

Dr Nirav is a most skilled, competent, patient and kind surgeon. I had parotidectomy surgery. Dr Thakkar was very detailed ensuring I was prepared for the surgery, risks and potential outcomes. Successful surgery and great outcome- no facial paralysis. Staff were all great to work with, especially Ms Phyllis who manages all my medical documents. Thank you, Dr Thakkar and the staff at Century ENT at the Orland Park location.

Dr. Thakkar was patient, kind, funny and is one of the best doctors I have EVER had. He takes so much time with you, with absolutely no rush. I had a a very bad fungal sinus infection that required surgery along with a deviated septum. This is for sure NOT a great experience but he made it not so bad! The first post-op visit, absolutely terrible; but he made it okay! What most impressed me; due to COVID my husband had to sit in the car the entire time (5 hours) and once my procedure was done, he personally called my husband and gave him all the details, again with no rush and took his time with questions, etc. I owe my PCP, Dr. Samuel Farbstein a BIG thank you for recommending this man to me for this procedure. I would recommend Dr. Thakkar to ANYONE needing an ENT. Thank you again!

Very pleased with all my visits. Staff was wonderful and Dr. Thakkar is a kind, compassionate and very competent doctor. I was lucky to be referred to him by Dr. Lyon. What I really appreciated was that the doctor took me immediately as a new patient.

I had a great surgery and recovery under Dr. Thakkar's care and team. The surgery was short, and the recovery wasn't hard on my throat. After my two weeks, everything felt normal again and I'm even breathing better. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a tonsillectomy.

Great doctor... Great staff. Performed my throat cancer surgery. I am so pleased because Dr. Thakkar's experience and expertise as a surgeon was so effective that I did NOT require any chemo or radiation treatments afterwards. I thank God for for this blessing and this doctor.
