Sanath Kumar's Online Review Report Card

I have been receiving a bill for $154.18 from them for over a year now from a procedure in 2020. I have called them several times about this and confirmed with them that they have been paid and provided the date they cashed the payment check. I am still getting a bill and they never answer their phones. This office is the worst.

He used to be a great Doctor. Now all he cares about is the money and not the patients. If you want to get in to see him, you have to deposit $250 first. And I have great insurance!

Dr Kumar is a great physician . After not seeing him for years due to relocation , I decided upon my return to make an appointment . He has a secretary that is extremely rude by the name of Tracy. Her actions display that of a racist, bitter woman. She called me several times looking for a reason for Dr Kumar not to see me. Then the final time she called me again and mentioned “I noticed you have a bill and your husband does too. Well he’s not my husband anymore and the balance was 69 bucks which I explained I will be more than happy to make a payment as it’s from 2010 and I had no knowledge of a balance , no problem at all. Then she went to say “Mam , I don’t like your attitude and you can take your business somewhere else and then hung up on me. Wow is all I can say. I then called her back and explained Tracy, you must be having a bad day and explained to her it’s not that serious why are you constantly calling me about paperwork and mentioning my appointment has to be rescheduled since your not an existing patient then I asked her to search my maiden name and there I was . So , I’ve since cancelled my appointment and my primary physician referred me to a new gastroenterologist . It saddens me That this practice has resulted in bad customer/ patient service and I definitely don’t feel comfortable stepping foot into this facility with someone like Tracy working at the front desk. I pray she gets the help she needs , it doesn’t cost to be nice these days , the world is already suffering enough . Good luck , he should be retiring soon and Tracy , before you go to another facility, take some training and development classes for customer service and patient care , you’re rude and extremely unprofessional. Dr Kumar should look into hiring Sharon , (the backup ) full time. She was extremely nice and professional.

Great Physician Excellent Surgeon Provides wonderful care for the patient

Dr Sanath Kumar is a excellent Dr. I believe he over schedules quite a bit. It's not the desk it's the dr. He moves very fast and I'd guess he gets7-10 patients and hour. Yes I made an appointment for 5:30 and thought they closed at 6 pm. I was very wrong. I didn't get home till almost midnight. After all this I've heard so many stories of him saving someone's life. So he is who I go to.

Dr. Kumar is a great physician with an outstanding bedside manner. He caring, compassionate and very professional.

Quick, competent, effective.

It's AWKWARD to see a colo-rectal doctor. But Dr. Kumar is so patient and caring. He explained the pros/cons of various procedure options. He is very kind and never makes you feel awkward. A wonderful human being and a great doctor! I'll be so sad when/if he retires!

I was so scared and did not know what to expect.... He made me feel very calm and comfortable. Very thorough and when it came time for me to have surgery, I was prepared and my surgery went smooth. Thank you so much for your kindness and wonderful bedside manner!!! Would recommend to anyone!

I don't know what to say except.... this is probably one of the kindest, most wonderful human beings that you will ever be fortunate enough to meet. And the fact that he is a surgeon at the top of his game is just icing on the cake. Do your health a great favor and make use of this gentleman's great skills, insight, and professionalism!
