Dr. Steve is AMAZING! My daughter absolutely adores him, as do I. Thank you for being so warm and genuine and always listening and caring.
We have taken our kids to this dentist for regular teeth cleanings and to treat cavities for several years. I've even gone in for a teeth whitening now that they have expanded their practice to adults. It's great for the whole family. The office is kid-friendly and inviting. Highly recommend this office for families.
I couldn't agree more with the other review. I was worried if going to a dentist out of my insurance network was worth the added expense. Believe me- IT ABSOLUTELY IS. Dr. Steve and Ms. Jackie were amazing. My daughter barely even puts foods she doesn't know in her mouth and they have her a complete cleaning and exam. On the way out she told me "That was lots and lots of fun!" About going to the dentist! Single handedly the best dental experience I've ever had- and I've had lots and lots of dental work over the years.
I had been taking my two daughters to see Dr steve and the fishes for a few years. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare! The office is not open evenings or Saturdays! I don't think I should have a child miss school time for a dental cleaning. Plus, the phone staff is not courteous. Numerous letters reminding you to make an appointment, then a threat to be put "inactive" if you don't make the appointment, and when you finally call to make the appointment-- nothing available for MONTHS away!! NO thanks anymore, Dr steve!
You might be asking yourself "how good could a pediatric dentist actually be?" The answer? Really good. Amazingly good, in fact.I hate going to the dentist. Due to a traumatic childhood experience, I actually LOATHE going to the dentist. Unfortunately, giving off the "going to the dentist sucks" vibe to your three little kids? Not acceptable good mom behavior in the least. I did not and do not want my kids to be scarred for life as I was, so to say I was a bit picky in my selection process? Umm, that would be an understatement. Of the century. My four year's appointment just passed and he's still RAVING about the dentist's office and his experience. The office itself is super kid-friendly: two beautiful fish tanks, a toy room, televisions, books...the whole nine yards. Two minutes after paperwork completion, my son's name was called. They first came out into the waiting area, sat on the floor with him, and just spoke with him to make him feel comfortable (it worked). He was able to pick out his favorite flavor (out of about a zillion) for the toothpaste, fluoride...even the exam gloves! He went back for the x-rays by himself (willingly, happily) and once he went to the regular room, I was called back into the room with him. They took pictures (like, real pictures) of his smile (he loved it!) and then his teeth (super cool). While they did the cleaning, the dentist came in to do a little dentist-parent conference; he checked out the x-rays and the pictures (no cavities! YAY!) and talked to my son about good oral hygiene. After that, the dentist asked if we had any questions, the fluoride (of his choosing--he picked cherry) was brushed on, and then my son was given an AMAZING goody bag of toothbrushes, stickers, toothpaste, little toys, and then he was even able to pick out a "treasure" from the treasure chest. On our way out, pretty much everyone in the office said goodbye and told him what a great job he did. As we were approaching the car, he said he couldn't wait to go back. (Is this not a sign of the most amazing dentist in the world or what?!) Overall, even though we had to pay out-of-network cost, it was worth every penny and then some. You will be AMAZED by this office and absolutely everyone there. I wish I could give this place twenty stars!drstevekuhn.com

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
