My name is Peter Miks. I have been to the Hawthorn Surgery Center for like the 4th or 5th time for numerous surgeries. I couldn't ask for a more professional and caring staff. Drs. and staff have been nothing but exceptional. I would recommend anyone needing hand, knee, or shoulder surgeries to have them done at this facility. Also, I recommend IBJI and the Drs. and staff there for all checkups, if you are are having any medical issues, this is the facility to be checked out by these caring Professionals. The staff is so nice. I had a foot surgery and nurses and doctors were so amazing. However, beware they call before the surgery is done to collect the money. I found this odd and said I wouldn’t pay until the surgery. As we checked in they again said we had to pay…again before the procedure. This is odd to me. Just beware of this. The kindness of everyone makes up for the wanting prepayment.

I had a total knee replacement done at Hawthorn Surgery Center. The entire staff was professional and very kind and I highly recommend. They alleviated my fear. The facility was clean. I received a card in the mail signed by my nurses.
