Eyad Homedi's Online Review Report Card

Unfortunately I am writing this review for the office manager who represents Dr. Homedi: Very disappointed. My husband was recently at the ER for cardiac and stroke symptoms and was discharged home with orders to follow-up with a GP in 3 day’s time. I made an appointment for my husband to be seen as a new client with Dr. Homedi, a doctor that I like and respect. We were told to be there a half hour early to fill out paperwork. Unfortunately we were unable to get there early yet we were on time. As soon as we walked into the clinic we were turned away in a VERY stern and uncaring manner by the office manager DEEPA. She told us that the Dr. Homedi was very busy today and because we did not get there early we would have to reschedule. I asked if it was possible for us to fill out the paperwork after the appointment and was refused by DEEPA. We were told to be there early yes, but we were not told if we were not a half hour early that we would be turned away! Again, I am very let down by the way we were treated. This is a clinic for patients who are SICK! DEEPA would not even let us speak to Dr. Homedi and because of her heartless disposition for my husband my family and I will NEVER step foot in that office again. Not because of the doctors but because of the office manager DEEPA. This was very unfortunate that a patient with cardiac issues was turned away because we were not EARLY!!!

Dr. Homedi is a great doctor

The doctor is very kind, caring, compassionate, and patient. He never makes me feel overwhelmed and he makes you feel like he genuinely cares. It's nice to have a doctor who listens.

He was very friendly with my daughter and easy to get an appointment

I met Dr Homedi years ago in the Old Elmhurst Emergency Room years ago. He had been my Doctor ever since. He is sincere, and kind, and knows me and my issues . I have followed him over the years to different locations. Because he's My Doctor. Because I have COPD, and on blood thinners he consistanly monitors me, my lungs and my Blood levels. When I have test run, I get results quickly. He is everything I looked for in a physician.

This was a bad experience. The staff were unprofessional. The Doctor only works 3 half days a week so he can do his Engineering job full time. That is not acceptable for having patients and is not there when you need him. Greatly disappointing!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Homedi and the entire staff here. He is an amazing, caring Dr. who takes the time to listen and cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone. By far the best care I have ever recieved. Excellent service, amazing staff.

I had nothing but issues almost from day one with the staff at his new Villa Medical Arts office. I tried to speak to the Dr about it but he did not want to hear it. I had been lied about and bullied in many ways from his so called office manager. She was power hungry and had to have her voice in on everything intercepting all my calls. (I never owed money) My final straw was when I had to wait two weeks for test results to the Dr from the Hsp because she kept the fax. I had called the Hsp and they faxed me three confirmation papers where it was accepted three times from their office but denied to me. I wanted to discuss my issues with the Dr about her again but he would have no part of it. I was out of state when my husband called to let me know he had received a certified letter from the Drs office telling me I was no longer welcomed to be his patient. I found out from the office he no longer wanted me because I did not TRUST his staff. Well duh..she lied and bullied me why would I trust her? I wanted to discuss it all but found out he had the letter sent to me then went out of the country on vacation. I feel extremely disrespected, hurt and let down. He has two sides to him plus two jobs...Atlas Engineering and part time Doctor. I would not recommend this person for anything. He has no morals.

(At Villa Medical Arts) The doctor is kind and caring for the most part. The staff is disrespectful on many levels. Deepa the office manager and Sandy have big issues. A few of the receptionists are no better. Staff needs to learn what respect is. I quit going here because of the environment of the staff.
