List of MIloslava M. Kyncl's Reviews
I first met Dr. Kyncl in 1990 when my mom was in hospice at Lake Forest Hospital. She impressed me with her warm bedside manner and compassion for what we were going through. After she left, the head nurse talked behind her back and said she had never seen a doctor who cared as much as Dr. Kyncl. She saw my mother everyday even though medicare did not cover. I made a mental note and switched as soon as I got the flu. Dr. Kyncl is a better doctor because she talks to patients until they reveal what they determine as insignificant details, but to a doctor are necessary to correctly diagnose the patient. Mila and John's care saved my husband who has had prostate cancer and 14 years later kidney cancer. They caught it soon enough that only surgery was required. I took him to Mayo Clinic to get a second opinion of the prostate cancer. They said everything was done perfectly. I not only consider them my doctors, but now my friends because they keep me mentally balanced. I can discuss anything with them. Barbara Brown
I do not think they make doctors like Dr Mila Kyncl anymore. She offers old world quality care with an amazingly modern knowledge base. She is like a medical encyclopedia - and she listens to her patients. She knows how to use her extensive medical knowledge to truly help those under her care. She and her staff feel like trusted family and my husband and I hold her in highest regard.
I remember Dr Myloslava kyncl from her younger years, at Saint Teresa Medical center: 1991 I Believe we first met. OB/GYN and then Labor and Delivery. I was privileged to work beside her for a time or two. She is definitely old school. I' learned what holistical Medicine and care was all about. She's been dedicated to her job for many years; she compassionate, EMPATHETIC, and treats you with respect and love, yet she's straight.forward and frank when letting you know what to do. Free will. In my book she's never given up on me, she knows her patients on first name basis. works long hours. Along with Barbara. Her physician assistant. In my book I give her and the waukegan office a 5 star review. Thankfully and respectfully. Debbie Podobnik
Dr Kyncyl is an amazing listener
A fertility endocrinologist referred me to see a Medical endocrinologist for a Thyroid condition. I found Dr. Mila Kyncl as she is a specialist and was in-network with my Medical insurance and close to home. As Dr. Kyncl walked in she congratulated me on being 3 months pregnant, I informed her that I am not pregnant and she must have the wrong chart. She apologized and said, "Oh you are trying to get pregnant, how long have you been married?" I said, "I am not married." She responded with, "Then why are you trying to get pregnant, you should be married first?" After being lectured for literally 15+ minutes and not even discussing my thyroid, someone knocks on the door and she leaves for about 5-10 minutes. I could hear her talking outside the room about business and then about soups and which ones she likes etc. Keep in mind I am a new patient and this was my first visit to this office! She eventually returned to the room did not speak to me and answered a personal cell phone telling someone shed call them back. After flipping through papers, she noticed my last name comes from polish decent (I am Caucasian) she then asked, "Is your boyfriend Polish?" I said, "No he's not. She said, "Well then what is he?" I said, "He's African American. She responded with, "Ooohh, they don't take care of their children, they leave their families. Your children are going to have different hair than you, their skin will not be the same as yours they are not going to look like your race. My dad told me you should always stick to your own race and not date outside. What does your family think about this?" I informed her that my family loves him and wouldn't choose anyone else for me, that he is not as she described and that the reason for my appointment was to treat my thyroid condition so I would appreciate her leaving my personal life and personal decisions out of the conversation. She then said, "You're right lets handle business." FINALLY- after being lectured for 45+ minutes, the last 5 minutes of the appointment she looked at my information, talked about the thyroid and that was it. I left the office and drove all the way home crying. Just so everyone who reads this knows- my boyfriend has a college degree, he works for a fortune 500 company, takes very good care of me, and is NOTHING like she stereo typed him to be. With that being said! I discussed these things with him and he insisted we go back to the office to get clarification on the comments that were made. We drove back to the office, and they put us in a patient room to wait for Dr. Kyncl. As Dr. Kyncl walked in, she shook my boyfriends hand and said "Wow you are very handsome, its very nice to meet you! I immediately told her that I would not be coming back to the office and that I was going to report the comments she made to me during my appointment and that I was very upset. WITHOUT us explaining why we were back, she got defensive and said I said the most beautiful babies come from such combination. She asked us to not say anything about the comments made during my appointment and that we did not have to pay for the services that she will write it off as a consultation. She did admit to some things that she said, but denied most of it saying her best friends are black and they hug each other. If you are in an interracial relationship I advise you do not see this doctor! We both were very hurt by the comments she made to me during my appointment. If you are the type who believes in "sticking to your own race" then she is the perfect doctor for you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
