My wife and I have been patients of doctor Melchionna for a number of years. I find his exams to be extremely thorough. Also, he has always been willing to take the time to answer any of my questions or explain anything he has seen. His office staff is always very pleasant and helpful.

Would not allow me to speak or explain anything, did not test my near vision, put me on six different eye drops at once, didn’t want to deal with reading my medical history, was rude to my doctor, and lied to me about what my doctor told him. He gave me a completely wrong prescription. My current prescription is -11.50 and -9.50 with +2.50 for both eyes. He tried prescribing me -1.00 and -3.00 so I can walk around blind. He didn’t care to listen to me or about my health. He spoke over me and just went ahead without me being able to get a word in.

Dr. Melchionna is a thorough, competent doctor who works hard to get the best results for his patients. However, he gets impatient when asked to explain and has no time for questions.
