Terrible bedside manner. Wouldn’t recommend

My wife was referred to Dr. Price due to terrible headaches, blurred vision. He did tests and gave a diagnosis of dry eyes. Suggested drops and to return in 18 months. my wife insisted she felt like she had a tumor on the brain which he brushed off and he told her no way, she passed with flying colors and women her age don’t have tumors that he would not catch with his tests. Long story short-she did have a tumor the size of a small plum and had to have surgery 2 days after Insisting on a MRI. Either his tests are not up to par or his attention to a patient’s opinion is not taken seriously. This miss caused further vision loss and allowed for the tumor to continue to grow until a doctor prescribed a MRI. Horrible miss on his part-HE was the first line to catch this and missed terribly. If we waited the 18 months my wife would not be here!

I came to Dr. Price at the Wheaton Eye Clinic very anxious after developing involuntary movement in my eye after cataract surgery. I left the exam even more anxious as I was not given reasons for this occurring, no confirmation of a diagnosis and no differential diagnosis. Rather, it was smuggly suggested I “get the other eye done”. This was after 2 hours in a waiting room. I reluctantly had surgery on the other eye with no relief for the injured eye. I wear an eye patch so I am able to perform daily functions until I am able to be seen by a more informed physician. I do not recommend Dr. Price due to his inability to communicate information from an exam.

Dr. Price is one of the best eye specialists I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He is very patient and kind. He takes the time to explain every procedure and the reason for it. I am so lucky to have been referred to him.
