List of James Herrmann's Reviews
The opposite of all of my bad experiences in healthcare over 70+ years-- no time wasted in the waiting room, no unnecessary paperwork. A super efficient, professional and friendly staff -- this is the way every doctor's office should be run. Dr. Herrmann is outstanding - his down to earth, caring manner puts you at ease and he does excellent work.
I have been going to Dr. Herrmann for about 8 years now for botox and lip fillers. Every time I go to someone else closer to me (I live in Chicago) I regret it and never get the same results as Dr. Herrmann. I drive from downtown Chicago to Wheaton just to see him and it is worth the trip. He never pushes any additional treatments or sales on me which is something I always experience when going to other places for similar treatments. Other doctors will always tell me I "need more" of something probably to make a sale but instead Dr. Herrmann will always tell me when something will start to look unnatural and that we have done enough. I am thankful for getting referred to him because he has really helped me prevent the aging process at a slow steady pace instead of over doing something and looking "blown up" like I see a lot of people my age look. Right now I am 33 yrs old. I'm not sure why he doesn't have many reviews I'm guessing because people in that area (Wheaton) are not the demographic to get on the computer to write one? Maybe? I recently went to see Dr. Herrmann and when google searching the address before my appointment I noticed the lack of reviews so I decided to write a positive one because it is very much deserved! Thank you Dr. Herrmann!
A doctor who actually listens to you, and makes a genuine effort towards helping you find a resolution to your issues. When he says he will do something, he actually does. He does not pass the buck. If he thinks there is a way to help, he will. You would think this statement would speak true for many in this profession, but as many of us know, these are rare qualities to find these days.
Dr Herrmann has been a wonderful dermatologist for not only myself but my mother! I struggled with a few different things going on with my skin and he has be very informative! He walks me through steps and comes up with amazing game plans that work well for me! He listens to me, takes his time and takes care of my medical needs! He respects your wishes and tried to work with all your concerns! Highly recommend him!
Dr. Herrmann is top notch and treated my skin cancer like a true professional and it's gone. I highly recommend him. Thanks Doc!
He is caring and wise. He is very skilled at removing lesions and diagnosing skin problems. He is great.
My experiences and referrals of my daughters resulted in a sincere waste of time, hope and contracted insurance / Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO through a corporation family is senior partner in the benefits department. First of all, unreasonable hours of operation ( closing 2:30 pm 1:30 pm or off all day during the week with out messages or advisement to the inconvience and months waiting for a real Dr. Next, they judge and put their own ideas subjectively created and contradict in their own hipaa and patient bill of rights actual rights / surprising not a shock after 25 years tolerating this among many IL physicians despite the oath of doing no harm and good physicians with intelligence and bed side manner. Additionally, Bridgett is a PA and chronically has misrepresented patient information to that transcribed by the nurse causing unfortunate delays and pharmacy errors where simple due diligence would prevent on the physician over seeing their PA ( in this example Bridgett ). Since referrals are no longer necessary despite obtaining since pediatric years or years prior with melonona and endocrine reporoductive with multiple members of family experiences of juvenile to adult hyothrroidism referrals for affects or problems recently gave the worse use of insurance claims that as a whole everyone's premiums. While many use dermatology for cosmetic reasons assuming specific irritating side affects with hormonal disorders and or medications explained to see this office, had I known they will not advocate for the non cosmetic procedures needed to avoid catching skin tags or irritations and inflamed skin explained images and communicated for proper coding and coverages for non purpose of commonly used procedures of cosmetic use . It is not judged when non 25 young adults choose to use their overly intense interests selling overly priced products at miridiance, however the fact Bridget made initial inappropriate, suggestive and unusual comments regarding hair, scalp and common symptoms associated with medical conditions of multiple morbidities that run in our family history, many members of my family are sharing similarities in frustrations and common loss of confudences in the PA supposedly supervised by a physician we have been following since annual checks or routine every few years necessary of serious moles and skin symptoms that require the expertise no longer exists at dupage medical group dermatology . PGF and father of serious skin procedures and mother sisters ranauds secondary to other medical etiologies needing skin care for medical reasons including skin cancer and melanoma not an importance to this office and it was not in this family and all experiences under this provider. If it had been the medical records would not been mixed up with other patients similar names entirely different demographics and Dates of Birth missing this twice seems the attention to detail, facts, patients are not an interest. The changes subtlety graduated to over focus obvious ideas she implied as if a horrid negligent issue these words, " so, what kind of shampoo do you use .. probably drug store I'm assuming !" Utilizing quality and costly product and pristine care of skin hair by professional therapist trained in these areas went in one ear out her other. It was unnecessary to attend evidently, since she creates her own ideas of a patient and inappropriately accuses patients making false records. Even unwanted hand outs of unnecessary primaries to refere with a PPO when established as children. Lastly, Primary physicians refer and acute needs covered while wellness visits are not ! DMG over zealousness is a concern . The retail quick to blow off patients toward is not appropriate! The selfish interests seem worthy to express our experiences past few years especially in the event any other is seeking prudent and genuine dermatology medical service. Best of wishes !
I had skin removed for possible cancer and I did not meet the doctor but meet with an Assistant. I now am seeing another Doctor because the concern is the issue was not resolved.
Just awful. He did not wait for the numbing medicine to work and appeared to care very little about my pain. I will not be back
I'm concerned about the level of training given estheticians prior to allowing them to perform laser services. My skin was damaged at the Institute, without responsibility taken for the damage.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
