Dr. Patel is an artist. I consulted with several oculoplastic surgeons before choosing her as my provider. I had thyroid eye disease with severe eyelid retraction and fat composites behind both eyes...Looked like lumps under my Eyebrows. Dr. Patel removed the excess fat. I look like my normal self again! Not only that, her bedside manner was incredible... she is the best. If you are self conscious about your eyelids for any reason, first, youre beautiful, and second, Dr. Patel is who you should see.

Doctor Patel is an amazing provider. She performed eyelid surgery on me in July, and I look great. I had eyelid retraction as a result of thyroid eye disease. Doctor Patel removed the excess fat composites from both of my eyes. Her bedside manner is great. her incision was extremely precise, Directly on the crease, And there is no sight of the scar. I highly recommend her as a provider.

Dr. Patel arrived to my appointment at Wheaton Eye Clinic an hour late and had no apology whatsoever. I explained my four week long swollen eyelids issue but she discounted it entirely stating they presented typical to someone my age. I told her to trust me and that it literally happened over night. But she said to trust her that's how it should look for someone my age. She actually barely even looked at my eyes and did no type of exam. Such a waste of a copay. The next day one eyelid got much worse. But as luck would have it, they seem to be going back to normal. I don't know what's going on with my eyelids but if they don't continue to improve I will find another doctor.

Great dermatologist she really informed me on my eczema and came up with a nice plan that I am comfortable with and feel good about. Great bedside manners and I’m glad she spent time with me and addressed my concerns. Feels good to have a nice doctor to build a relationship with

Dr. Patel is AMAZING! She first saw our son inpatient at CHOA where they found a tumor on his eye muscle. It was a rare tumor that took several weeks to determine if it was cancerous (thankfully it was not) and what exactly it was. She was with us every step of the way from his first MRI, to his surgery, inpatient care and continued follow up. Our son has autism and she is amazing with him! Her bedside manner is top notch! She is very knowledgeable and takes her time with her patients. She is one of the best doctor's we have encountered!
