Mark J. Daily's Online Review Report Card

Mark J. Daily, MD, & his colleagues at The Wheaton Eye Clinic misdiagnosed my eye darkness concerns, performed laser surgeries to supposedly cure the problem & left me legally blind in my left eye with unremitting strobing in that eye which ultimately affected my right eye as well. The many approaches I've made to undo the damage that Dr. Daily caused could not reverse my eye conditions. Depression, loss of work & total frustration are the results I've had to endure because of Daily's mistakes.

Dr. Daily has been wonderful. First I always had that saying in my head - "Stick a needle in your eye hope to God you don't die" I got retinopathy in my eye a few years back and he has been very kind too me and he has explained when I didn't even want to listen, he called me back when he knew I got blinded in my eye -- he persisted to keep in contact with me about the seriousness of my vision and the diabetes --- I am shocked to see a bad report of him because he saved my eyesore more than once. I also had laser surgery and was great never felt nothing -- I say thumbs up for this doctor.

After my experiences with Mark J. Daily at The Wheaton Eye Clinic, I would advise everyone to avoid the misdiagnosis and painfully incorrect treatments that I had there with him. Dr. Mark J. Daily of The Wheaton Eye Clinic misdiagnosed my subretinol bleeding & lasered my eye 2 times causing me to suffer being legally blinded. My condition was central serous retinopathy, but Dr. Daily diagnosed it as idiopathic choroidal neovascularization. The former condition needs to be left alone and then the bleeding will dissipate on it's own. By choosing the latter condition, Dr. Daily lasered my eye which caused the bleeding to cover the center of my eye and that left me blinded in that eye. Over time the eye still receives light signals, but being blinded doesn't know what to do with those signals. The brain then sends the strobe-like signals to my other eye which also has to deal with the strobe-like signals permanently I've suffered immeasurable grief and depression as the result of Dr. Daily's misdiagnosis and unnecessary laser surgeries. I advise everyone to avoid Dr. Mark J. Daily and his Wheaton Eye Clinic colleagues. His decision to operate was horribly wrong.
