Felt extremely rushed and Dr. Kipp told me my son will require most likely multiple surgeries in the next several years. Dr. Kipp did not explain his recommendations for the "multiple" surgeries. We went to another ophthalmologist and we have been surgery-free for for more than 8 years. Get a second opinion if he does not explain his treatment recommendations.

I have suffered with exotropia since I was 8 years old, I’ve spent years looking for a doctor to correct my issue and today Dr Kipp has changed my life. I can look at my son for the first time in the face and tell him I love you. Thank you Dr Kipp ,is doctors like you that make a difference and the whole experience was wonderful everyone was so caring. Great hospital with a great doctor . I love you Dr Kipp

Dr Kipp is the best. He has performed two surgeries (one for each of my sons who shared the same heredity condition). His bedside manner is phenomenal, he is so kind and cares so much. He’s one of the best doctors I’ve come in contact with. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kipp is a fine physician unless you have a lot of questions. He does not like answering questions or being challenged.

What a disappointment. Was referred to this doctor through Lurie's Children Hospital, where we drive 1.5 hours to have my daughter seen, only to be told that we could NOT get a second opinion because they do not accept our county through Medicaid. I think it is a complete disgrace and disservice to the community of pediatric patients that are not being seen due to being low income. It is already hard enough to fight to get quality care for your children, but an office that specifically sets limits for the patients they see is baffling, especially when you are being referred to said office from a physician for just a second opinion. Horrible.

My son is seeing Dr.Kipp for almost an year. He had lazy eye and it had improved . I should be saying Dr.Kipp is good at what he does. But he is very egoist and is not patient to answer our concerns. There is somethihatchet makes me uncomfortable. Its easy for a new patient to get an appointment than for an existing patient.
