I had been suffering from persistent scapula pain for over 3 years, trying various treatments with little to no relief until I found Dr. Steven Paliakas Nova Chiropractic Rehabilitation. From the very first visit, I felt confident I was in the right hands. What truly set this experience apart was the comprehensive and personalized approach to my care. Rather than relying on a single method, Dr Steven used a combination of treatment modalities including dry needling, soft tissue work, acupuncture, targeted adjustments, and corrective exercises. The dry needling, in particular, made a noticeable difference in reducing deep muscle tension that nothing else had touched. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for my wellbeing has been exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with chronic pain especially if you feel like you've tried everything. This team really listens, adapts, and delivers results.

Visiting Nova Chiropratic has changed my view of Chiropractic care. Dr. Steve listens to his patients and never rushes through an appointment. Several avenues are used when working with each patient. This is not a wack ‘em crack ‘em get ‘em out the door practice. The staff is personable. If you are interested in care that includes your opinion then this is the team you want to join.

Dr. Steve and his staff are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They were life savers when I first came in with pain in my neck and shoulder, and again when I re-injured them. Not only did they listen to what I needed, they offered a variety of treatment options. Despite being terrified of needles, I trusted them with some dry needling (and acupuncture this last appointment--a miracle in of itself!). They weren't judgmental at all, and have always made me feel safe and cared for. Additionally, they provided PT exercises to do at home, which helped mitigate pain & built strength between appointments. Both times I reached out to start the treatment process, they fit me in ASAP; in fact, same day! It's clear how much they care about their patients. You can tell by the way the interact with people in the office, too. I've recommended them to everyone I know, including my Mom. I first came to Nova in Dec. 2021 having issues with my knee and was unable to run like I used to. Prior to visiting Nova in early 2021 I had knee surgery and the rehab didn't go well. It felt like the muscles weren't "firing right" to get good fluid movement. Dr. Steve used dry needling to turn the muscles on and get them activated properly. Through a few visits I was running normally again. In 2022 I was able to run a half marathon, the NYC Marathon and just over 1000 miles. Dr. Steve listens to what is wrong and determines the best course of treatment for that specific issue. Not just a routine adjustment and out the door you go. I've gone back several times for maintenance and other more minor issues.

Dr. Steve is great. He really cares about his patients. He is considerate of my pain and needs during visits. He doesn't just start cracking and popping you. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I'm thankful that I finally found someone who can help with my chronic lower back pain.
