List of Stuart C. Heimburger's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Heimburger for many many years! He is an outstanding Doctor that I trust. Super friendly and puts me at ease every visit. Would highly recommended to any family, friend or stranger.
visited him through the ER and he was very irritable and impatient. Was referred to dupage through a family member who had nothing but good too say.Glad it was the end of his shift as no one wants to be talked too the way he speaks to his patients.
Dr Heimburger is kind, attentive and highly professional. He has been my Ob/gyn for 25 years and delivered two of my babies.
I have been seeing Dr. Heimburger for 20+ years and would highly recommend to any of my family or friends.
Dr. Heimburger is great. Takes his time explaining and he is very informative. I purposely set my appointments with him, he does not make the appointment uncomfortable or weird.
If I could give Dr. Heimburger a 0 out of 5 I would. I had a very horrible experience with him when in labor and delivery. In short he didn’t listen to any of my wants and needs. Kept pushing epidural and also kept insisting on a C-section with no medical reason . Never once giving my body the chance to do what it was made to do. He did countless unnecessary checks on me after breaking my water and even once made a remark to the nurse who said she had already checked me that he was the doctor and that he needed to do it. He told me after 24 hours a laboring that if I did not have this baby vaginally we would have to do a C-section so I was determined to get the baby out this being my first baby. After getting the epidural I dilated from 3 cm to 9cm in one hour I pushed for close to three hours and was in excruciating pain to the point that I don’t even remember what happened but my husband said i was screaming and a lot of medical staff came in. I came to with the nurses pushing the C-section papers in my face to sign, and i was off to OR. When I finally saw my baby he was already clothed and had a hat on and in recovery I took his hat off to take a good look at him and unlike the C-section babies you usually hear about his head was very long and misshaped ,and he had a very bad neck tilt. My son has been going to physical therapy since he’s been two months old and still has a little bit of a neck tilt (he is not a little over 1 year old.) I can’t help but to think that it could have been from pushing for those three hours with dr heimburger never in the room. If you want to have a vaginal birth I strongly recommend to not go with Dr. Heinburger. Then for my six week check up I was trying to put all the pieces together as to why I actually had a C-section. Dr. Heinberger said to me he didn’t know why I had a C-section he didn’t even remember me!
I have known Dr. Heimburger since he delivered my son 23 years ago and have been going for my yearly exams since then . He is a warm and caring doctor and he has given me valuable advice throughout the years .
I delivered my son over a year ago and have been experiencing pelvic pain ever since as I had significant tearing during labor. I have finally come to the conclusion that this is something that is not going away on its own and decided it is time to see a doctor. I have heard great reviews about DuPage Medical Group and I was able to get in to Dr. Heimburger right away....Probably should have been a red flag....His demeanor was awful. I described to him my symptoms and his solution (before he even examined me) was that I should get pregnant again... that way my symptoms will be a non issue... I wont have pain during intercourse or using a tampon because I wont need to if I am pregnant. He also told me that I had a baby so my body is never going to be the same... thanks Doc! He made me feel like I was worthless and that I was making the pain up. At one point (again before he even examined me) he said, "If you hit my hand with a hammer and I hit your hand with a hammer, whose hand hurts worse?"..... This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had at a doctors office and I will never go back.

To be that in need to inferior any one is about them to be an obgyn to do so is as near as having a mere man care about u as much as he cares for him self as a person . To feel when a obgyn truly likes there job just observe how he valses his co workers and all patients and hope that they respect to what it is real to that patient and not to his ideas .
I've had to encounter this HORRIBLE self absorbed dr on a few occasions. He made me cry 3 times during pregnancy visits and is always dismissive. He treats woman like we're less than , I had an ermergecy phone call and unfortunately he was on call and hung up before I could explain my issue because someone else was more emergent. No call back no soulution. Always makes me feel uncomfortable. I've never encountered him and not cried after. AND I NEVER CRY. He makes me feel like I'm worthless and not important and my concerns don't matter. I will be looking into how I can get him out of practice. This is the last straw he is ALWAYS inappropriate his bedside manor is atrocious and disrespectful. No one in a emergent scary situation should have to feel that way

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
