Timothy J Kietzman's Online Review Report Card

Since my referral from Dr. Michelle Andreoli to Dr T. Kietzman I couldn't be happier. I didn't expect the thoroughness of the examination along with explanation of my situation. Dr Kietzman gave me exercises to hopefully alleviate my condition. I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Kietzman.

After a few preliminary tests with a technician I was escorted into the exam room. The doctor sat at his desk with his back to me, not saying anything...no “hello,” no “give me moment,” ...for five minutes. He is not personable at all! He is very arrogant, mocking, and short tempered. He needs a refresher class on bed side manner. The office does not have test lens for double vision. So, you end up having to hold prism rods yourself. Having a shoulder injury and nerve damage...I found this process extremely painful, frustrating, and ultimately futile. Appointment time was overbooked. After five hours of testing I had to wait an extra hour just to see the doctor. There were six other patients in the waiting area the entire time I was there. They were still there when I left! All of the technicians went to lunch at the same time. So we were all there in the waiting area with no one to ask for assistance. Most of the technicians were very friendly and well informed. (One tech who “refused to work with the doctor” was utterly unhelpful and a bit rude). It would be nice if they occasionally checked in on all of the people in the waiting area, scheduled fewer appointments at one time, and spaced out their break times. Also the chairs in the waiting area were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever sat in!

Love Dr Kietzman! He's a thorough doctor and a personable, quirky guy! He spends his time explaining the details and comes up with real world examples to help nonmedical people understand the nuances of their issues. Have always been happy with the care I receive during my visits.

Dr kietzmam is a very professional, caring, and dedicated person. He spent 2-hour at least on my eyes exam. He was very thorough and explained me each and everything in detail, He has a great sense of humor. He is one of the best drs and a great persons I’ve met in my life. It’s my honor to know him and refer him to my friends and family members.

I am 66 years old and have been to many Drs during my life. None have come close to the caring and diagnostic conclusions as quickly as Dr Kietzman

My mom complained of severe eye pain and blurriness on a Friday afternoon. She was seen by a local optometrist who referred her to Dr Kietzman to rule out a serious condition. On a Friday night, he drove all the way from Plainfield to his Wheaton office (which was already closed) and waited for my mom who was driving from St Charles. He took his time evaluating her and put her at ease. I can’t thank Dr Kietzman enough for providing exceptional care.
