Great Psychiatrist. Not great about getting back to patients

She gets 1 star for being a nice person. 1 Star for attentiveness (when, and only when) we have a scheduled appointment. The poor rating is for being TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE AND UNRESPONSIVE to any form of communication. I have given it almost a year and am done. When you are treating people and trying new medications and having to adjust doses ...you HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOUR PATIENTS! This is your JOB! Especially in Psychiatry! I’d love to be able to blame her lack of response on covid but it’s been like this since day 1. I have an exceptionally busy career and 2 kids and I get back to my clients before the end of each day! I have literally waited for weeks and still no response to letting her know my daughters latest meds aren’t helping and she’s having bad side effects! It’s not just this time... Anytime I have needed her, she has taken weeks to respond, and on many times she never responded until our scheduled appointment. Tried texting her, calling her dedicated office line and e-mail..It’s truly unbelievable. Terrible care in any case but treating a child with psychotropic meds?!?! Deplorable. Do not recommend.

Dr. Myers is fantastic! I don’t mind the wait because she really listens and helps you to understand meaning behind your situations. I’ve been seeing her over eight years and I can’t say enough about her. Thank you for always being available. The office staff has always been really friendly and accommodating about appointments.

The second appointment, we were waiting for 45 minutes without explanation or apology. The office staff is terrible and never anwers the phone - your only option is to leave a message. And in three weeks, though I've left three messages about a medication issue for my kid, I haven't received a single call back. We're looking for a new practice. This is ridiculous.

I have been seeing Dr Myers for 5 years and I think she is a fantastic psychiatrist, HOWEVER I wait over an hour after my appointment time every single time I see her.
