I guess I feel more confident now but horrible experience. My pregnancy did not follow through but if I had known then what I know now, or if I was in a better position. They left me with a fetus with no heartbeat and send me home I had a placental abruption that almost cost me my life. I think being single and in a unique situation did not prevent the staff from expressing their opinions by giving me way below the norm of proper treatment. The nurse told me that my boyfriend gave me something. I felt embarrassed ashamed and no I had no std’s so being subjected to that was horrible. After the abruption the doctor did treat me after leaving me bleeding for five hours. At least they did what they minimally had to do to save my life. My proposal find someone who you absolutely are sure will treat you with humanity and see you as a person not a statistic. My position has changed significantly but now I wouldn’t visit this place if my life dependent on it. I’m sure the staff has changed but I see one doctor still on board there it was almost ten years ago but Carla I believe was the sitting doctor.

This practice reflects the true meaning of women supporting women. I recently delivered my third child with WSWH and I couldn’t be more thankful for them. From providing child care to my two toddlers in tow to ensuring no wait times for appointments, they always go above and beyond. The most remarkable thing is they helped me fulfill my dream of having a VBAC after two c-sections- a dream that very few doctors support. I am so thankful to be their patient.

Although I landed at this practice to be diagnosed and treated for what ended up being an unfortunate situation, I was all the more fortunate to have discovered such a top-tier OBGYN right around the corner from my home. A shout out and big thank you to Dr. Murrey and Dr. Carpenter - who both made me feel so incredibly comfortable when having to come in and out of the office over the last two weeks. I always left with such a good feeling, despite the situation, and it’s thanks to these two wonderful OBs who took care of me. I will be switching to them as my primary provider for all OBGYN services from now on!

I was recommended to West Suburban by my primary physician after an unsupportive experience with another practice. My main doctor is Dr. Rodriguez. She is kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She recommended me to an amazing RE for surgery and supported me through some tough times during my journey into motherhood. Dr. Malone was the on-call doctor when I gave birth. She was calm and patient and helped me bring my biggest blessing into this world. Also- shout out to the best nurse practitioner, Katie! She was always so happy and positive to have appointments with. My experience with the front desk staff has always been wonderful. I have nothing but positive things to say!

This practice is money orientated. They are only looking for extra money by doing unnecessary things. Once you check out you will be surprised by the extra fees on your bill.

The front desk constantly rescheduled my appointments 1-2 days before and would schedule me with a nurse practitioner instead of the doctors. I saw a nurse practitioner 7 times total and met the docs one time each for 10 min appointments. When my delivery day came, I didn’t recognize the doc and it was equivalent to just going to a random hospital and giving birth. However this isn’t the reason for my one star review. The day I went into labor, I had a bad experience overall. Dr murrey was the doc on call and she had 2 csections at the time. I didn’t see her at all until the last five minutes. What was upsetting was that I only had one nurse. My husband had to hold one of my legs and the nurse held the other as I was pushing. No additional help was available. I wasnt expecting my husband to be involved with the delivery. He was supposed to hold my hand but couldn’t since he had to help the nurse. Then at the final pushes where I was dilated to 10 and baby’s head/hair was visible, the nurse told me to stop pushing until dr Murrey was available. I had to wait and resist pushing the baby out because the doc wasn’t available. I would have expected an additional doctor to be available in these situations. The one nurse then left and my husband and I just waited for the doc to come. We called the nurse station 2-3 times begging the nurses to just deliver or if there’s any available doc. This was my first baby and never thought this is how the delivery would go. I definitely will not go to this office again and recommend you think twice too.

I had heard great things about this practice but have been astonished by their lack of care. Prenatal appointments were great, many doctors are great, but postpartum support and resources have been awful. I reached out for PPD resources and support and was given the name of one counseling group (not covered by my insurance) and told me to go see my primary care doctor for meds if I needed them (which how would I know?). I was made to feel like a liability and annoyance to them for reaching out for PPD resources, you’d think it would be a common question from patients? I will never go to them again. Sharing this review so that hopefully no other new moms are made to feel like an inconvenience/liability for reaching out for support.

The staff are so kind and humble. Mrs. Karen is so nice and I felt so welcome.

I was referred here by a friend when I was looking for an OB after a successful IVF cycle. Dr. Murrey is my absolute favorite; she is one of the best doctors I’ve met with. I was so happy when she was on call when I had my baby 2 months ago, and the whole pregnancy and birth journey were even better knowing I had the best care through WSWH. All the nurses I met with were also so great and friendly. Practically no waiting time for every appt I had, which is unheard of these days. 5 stars across the board
