My daughter had failed her vision screening twice. I was nervous having to take her to the Dr. Dr Verderber was wonderful. She made my daughter feel secure about the experience. Her bedside manner was great. So great that my daughter ASKED for glasses...even though she doesn't need them. She wants to go see Dr Verderber yearly rather than in three years as recommended.

Doctor Verderber is excellent! No problems, my daughter has seen her since she was one year old, and has always had time for her and us. She make's my daughter feel special.

My daughter's been going for 5 years. Dr. Verdeber has always been extremely nice and very thorough. We're very happy with her. The only trade-off is that her practice books lots of patients, so there's often a 15+ minute wait time. And much of their record keeping is still manually kept on paper, so there's a lot of re-entry of insurance information, contact details, etc.

So not going back. We went in as a new patient(I brought my son in), the doctor did not even introduce herself, just came in and went right to work. When I told her the school said he didn't pass his vision test, she didn't even discuss what it could or couldn't be. Was sge rushed, didn't care?? who knows...very impersonal and cold. The topper, for our follow up visit we got a call for a reminder and the person calling told us to bring insurance information. I told them we were just there, and gave them our insurance card, didn't they already have that info? Person said, I have no idea, I just call for verification of apts, I'm not in the office to know. Geez, talk about relationship building!

Dr Verderber puts the kids at ease instantly and does a tremendous job at doing a thorough examination. She completed an eye surgery on one of our kids earlier this year and did an absolute top notch job. She tried other non invasive methods first, which we liked. We received a second opinion, too, on doing the surgery through another top notch pediatric ophthalmologist in the area and she too agreed that surgery was needed. We'd HIGHLY recommend Dr Verderber for kids (ours started seeing her @ only 8 or 9 months of age.)
