List of Neil Friedman's Reviews
DR Friedman was prompt in seeing me, was pleasant and professional. He answered all my questions and informed me of areas I didn't know to ask. He took the initiative to order a more detailed test (CT Scan) than the ultrasound my physician sent me to him with, told me to schedule asap. Unfortunately his office person, Agatha needs a week to get insurance approval (?). They are my next call.
Dr Friendman was short tampered and abrupt, no bedside manner, refused to listen to anything I've had to say, and dismissed me 2 minutes later because he had other patients waiting. So if you're looking for a doctor who's willing to listen, eager to help, and actually cares for his patients, I strongly recommend going elsewhere
Neil is merely about making money for chemotherapy, and radiation. I refused chemotherapy in 2015. Unfortunately, in 2017 I questioned Neil during my annual visit about a lump in my right arm he replied, " I'm not CONCERNED it a lipoma fatty tissue!" I had the lipoma biopsied by the cosmetics Doctor. Now, Neil wants me back in his office to see the scar. I was told I had a, " unusual metastatic breast cancer!" He ordered a pet scan, and TWO WEEKS LATER IM TOLD MY ARM WASN'T INCLUDED IN THE PET SCAN! Next, he referred me to another doctor. I went to Med Star got a doctor from MIT, and Tusk university. The radiologist recommended a guided biopsy, and didn't believe I had cancer. The MIT Doctor performed a unnecessary SURGERY, and found NO CANCER! Since, Neil procrastinated for TWO WEEKS I asked him to speak with the MIT Doctor, and he refused. In addition, he sarcastically said, "I don't have to justify TO YOU WHY I TREAT YOU THE WAY I DO!!!!" I have EVERY RIGHT to question his manipulation to scam money, while poisoning me with chemotherapy! I initially told him," No chemotherapy or radiation!!! Fortunately, I didn't fall for Neil's shenanigans found a doctor who was honest, and HE DID NOT FIND CANCER! Most importantly, Neil's gross conduct is horrifying. I'm clear there is NO PROFIT IN THE CURE!
Dr. Friedman's diagnostic skills have obviously honed over many years. He is willing to explain reasons for each of his recommendations and offer other options. His willingness to spend time answering questions - make dealing with a major conditions bearable.
This past fall Dr. Friedman was recommended by my OBGYN from Montgomery County to see him for my atypia hyperplasia. The procedure, due to a faulty biopsy from a different surgeon, ended up being a very difficult procedure and finding the spot was difficult. The excellent staff doing the pre surgical exploration was excellent and the doctor found the spot for the surgery. Dr. Friedman is extremely thorough, personable, and a perfectionist in every way. I will not go anywhere else again.
I recently accompanied my wife on her annual appointment marking her 20th year with Dr. Friedman, we did not get to see Dr. Friedman this time but ran into him while waiting for our appointment, he called my wife out by name asking how she is doing, given Dr. Friedman's patient load i thought that was a story worth sharing to validate how personable & compassionate he is with his patients.
Best Dr. I know. Never feel rushed and he always answers all my questions.
Dr. Friedman is the best doctor that I have. He is kind, caring and compassionite. He is not quick to do surgery and really checks out other possibilities . I would highly recommend him.
Iagree with the other comments. Professional, knowledgeable, caring. I came here from another doctor scared to death and the whole staff experience & Dr. Friedman's surgery made a positive difference in my life. You are in competent hands if you come to see Dr. Friedman and the Mercy Hospital Breast Center.
Excellent surgical skills, but mis-diagnosed my problem and treated me subsequently for the wrong thing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
