Not great, my sons mom and I split up and she does not care for my concerns, and quick to prescribe meds and increasing dosage at a whim of a request. Several times I have asked this doctor to call me via tele-health per visit and she has ignored me or has blamed me for miscommunication. Also charges for mychart communications $35.00 a message - Stay Away

Love Dr Costello, she takes time to listen to my child, review reports and truly cares about what’s best for the child. She’s explains everything and gives options for treatment plans.

Dr Costello is an amazing psychiatrist in that she is extremely knowledgeable and professional but truly caring and committed to helping her patients. She does so much more than prescribe medication. She can relate to her patients and make them feel safe and offers great insight and explains things thoroughly. My daughter and I have worked with so many good professionals in the mental health field and Dr Costello was hands down the best. My daughter has severe and complex mental health diagnoses and Dr Costello was 200% committed to finding the best treatment for her. She just turned 18 so she needs to transition to an adult psychiatrist. It’s going to be hard.

My daughter has been seeing Dr Costello for about 3 years and she is wonderful! She always takes her time, gives you the attention your wanting, has a calming mannerism and effect with children. Dr uses the input of both child and parent and together, comes up with a future care plan. I would recommend Dr Costello for any child that is seeking treatment. I've never had an issue with scheduling appts to fit my schedule.

Watch out if you see this doctor. My husband and I had an appt with her to discuss our son and his severe anxiety that kept him home from school. She agreed with us that he should have homebound tutoring and she would sign the form from the school. The next day we faxed her the form. No response. We sent it again and again. No response. Then I receive a call from her nurse saying that the school talked to her and they decided that we just need to get him to school. The school and Dr. Costello had a discussion about OUR SON and we were not notified. She completely changed her mind, didn't bother to tell us. A few months later (after we switched to another doctor) we had to get her notes for a school meeting. In her notes she denied that we talked about a tutor and the fact that she said he was agoraphobic.
