List of Arie L. Habis's Reviews
When my son became very sick after hours, I took my young toddler to the pediatric ED thinking he would see the best doctor available. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. We were assigned to Dr. Habis and had the most miserable experience ever! He was unfriendly to me, right from the moment he first walked in the door. The exam he gave my son was rather rough, and definitely not thorough. When my son's strep throat test came back positive, Dr. Habis immediately said that he recommended an antibiotic injection instead of oral medicine. I trusted his advice, but I regretted it the next day when we followed up with our pediatrician. She said that injection is highly allergenic and they try everything else before they have to use that as a last resort because of that. Yet, it was the treatment that Dr. Habis used first. (On another visit to the ED, I asked about that injection, and the staff all agreed with my pediatrician.) I am surprised that Dr. Habis is still at CDH after all these years. It's an amazing hospital with first class staff.
I could not have been more impressed with Dr. Habis. His bedside manner was stellar! We walked right into the ED, we were brought right back to a room, where the doctor was actually waiting for us! How often does that happen? He answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed, which was really great since we were in an emergency room. He played with my son and really took the time to look him over. I hope I never have to go back to the emergency room but if I do, I hope Dr. Habis is there!!!!
We visited Dr Habis in ER when my baby was affected with swine flu.He was just there for a moment when my baby was admitted , thats it , after that he never turned back, for that we ended up paying huge bills
My children have seen Dr. Habis numerous times in the ER. He is very cold and has a horrible bedside manner. His exams are not thorough at all, he doesn't even cover the basics (ear, throat, chest) unless your child has symptoms in those areas. From now on I am requesting another doctor.
We visited Dr. Habis in the ER when my baby daughter had a high fever. All he wanted to do was run test after test, and was very impracticable when it came to actually treating what was wrong with my daughter. He wanted to test for all these diseases and conditions when all my daughter had was a high fever and the flu. He painted a very bleak picture if we didn't take these tests and eventually I decided to stop the tests and go home. My daughter was fine with a prescription to keep the fever under control. Dr. Habis did not seem to care for the overall health of my daughter, just wanted to run test after test. I left before I racked up too large a bill. Do not go to this doctor.
Dr. Habis is very cold and definitely lacks any good bedside manner. He has little to no patience when working with children. Unfortunately, each time that I have gone to the Pediatric ER, he has been our doctor. If at all possible, request another doctor if he is assigned to you. He does not conduct a thorough exam and leaves many questions unanswered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
