My first screening experience with Dr. Caruso was at the end of Dec 2019. She was friendly, caring and thorough. I have had many gastro screenings over the years and have been happy with DMG gastro.

Dr Caruso is very thorough and because of this she did a biopsy to to make sure everything was ok. It wasn’t, surgery followed. But I’m grateful she followed up and didn’t let it go.

She never replies on mychart, she never even opens messages for that matter. She can’t seem to find out what’s wrong with you and won’t actually be of any help. She’ll never remember to refill your meds and when she does (after multiple phone calls and messages), the dosage is always incorrect. You’ll have to call her office about 5 times and express how irritated you are before you get anywhere with her. She also never has appointments, supposedly. Very disappointed that such a well-educated medical professional could do such a poor job. Save yourself the time and money and go to a doctor that actually cares and isn’t just in it for the money.

I do not recommend being late to an appointment. This was my first time to this facility and it was confusing as to where to go. I thought I planned to arrive with enough time but to my dismay, I was 10 minutes late due to traffic and understanding which building the office was located. Nonetheless, Dr. Caruso was INCREDIBLY understanding and still took the time to review my issues in detail. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Completed my most recent colonoscopy (had 2 prior with another dr). First intro to her(10 secs long to explain risks) was as I busily being positioned in the procedure room. She never came out to the pre procedure room, even thou she knew there questions/problems. I FELT & REMEMBERED MUCH PAIN DURING PROCEDURE. Her post procedure convo with husband was rushed & condescending. Post proc instructions vague & incomplete. Pics & doc were unprofessional & incomplete. Better docs out there!

There's a long wait to see the doctor but thats because EVERYONE wants her as their doctor. 100 percent worth the wait if you want the best of the best. She is very caring and sweet and her medical assistant Jodi is the best!!!
