Dr Mattson takes time to listen to my medical issues and does not judge me for my choices. Instead she helps me without being condescending and actually explains complicated medical issues in lamens terms. She sits down to talk when she can, which helps make me feel comfortable around her. She has a sense of humor that helps when I'm sick in the hospital. She asks about how my family is doing and is very genuine and caring. I don't know what some others wrote here--but she's what a doctor should be!!
Reviewed On Vitals
Patient was in hospital with a problem unrelated to medications keeping illness induced hallucinations at bay. This doctor, without consultation, without patient consent wrote an order discontinuing all patients antihallucination med at one time. Fortunately i was able to get a medical school professor to stop this reckless act before danage was done. Obviously not knowledgabe, not careful and seems to not respect patient rights to informed consent.
