List of George A Banuelos's Reviews
My horrible experience happened a long time ago before there were reviews “online” so I finally get to reveal to help others. Unfortunately Dr. Banuelos was on-call that day for my 1st baby. First, during a progress exam at the hospital, without any communication he punctured my water bag. I was suddenly all wet & had to ask if he broke my water bag because he was silent and about to leave the room without saying anything. During labor he had the epidural shut off then he said it was my fault because I was a bad pusher. Then worse of all, when stitching my episiotomy, the nurse gave him a numbing injection to administer before he started stitching. Dr. Banuelos told her he didn’t need it, he wasn’t going to use any numbing injection. He started stitching and it hurt incredibly bad. I communicated to Dr. B that I was in a lot of pain and felt everything, every stitch. I was even moaning in pain unable to keep still. His response to me was “Well where are you going to go?” in a very sarcastic, distant, cold voice. Later even the nurse commented that she didn’t know why he wouldn’t administer a numbing shot. After this horrible event for my first born, I switched hospitals & doctors because I never wanted to encounter this sadistic man again for my future pregnancies or anything else.
Im writing this review in hopes that other people will see my experience with doctor Bañuelos. . I’ve been going to him since I was pregnant with my son in 2019. From the get go Dr.Bañuelos made me get many unnecessary exams and ultrasounds. He told me he saw a mass in my babies brain and sent me to a specialist the same day that specialist said my baby was perfectly fine except for he was measuring a couple days short and I was going to specialist my entire pregnancy because of this. He yelled at me for missing one of these unnecessary specialist appointments saying it was $3000 lost. Clearly he was sending me there just to get more commission. After I gave birth I decided to get the IUD, where I am sure it was not placed correctly because I was bleeding for more than 30 days. He tried to cover his medical malpractice by saying I had a polyp although the bleeding began the day he inserted the IUD. The main issue I have with the Doctor is that I went to him multiple times explaining my symptoms and letting him know I felt off and that something was not right with my body. He always went straight to blaming my weight instead of ever running any labs or tests on me. The last time I went to him I was seeking an answer, anything to explain my symptoms and he told me to “just lose weight and go on weight watchers it’s that easy” He has always blamed my weight for everything that’s happening to me. He did not even bother to run any labs or give me any medication that would be beneficial to me. Even hearing him talk about me in the other room with a PA assistant laughing saying I don’t listen so that’s why my symptoms don’t get better. He gave me a generic birth control that was NOT targeted to my condition so of course I was not going to take it. I kept coming back hoping he would actually help me or do an ultrasound or draw my blood anything … unfortunately that is when I decided I will Not Be going back. I have gone to another doctor and I found out I have PCOS and have learned losing weight is extremely difficult if not regulated with any help from medications or treatment. I am now getting the treatment I wanted to get from Dr.Bañuelos for years . It’s upsetting I trusted him so much and he was always so disregarding with me. I believe it was because of my age being in my 20’s he believed he could get away with many things. I will say his staff is amazing and kind. Especially the nurses, they always made me feel safe and welcomed. I just want to share my experience because it was truly frustrating and I dealt with untreated symptoms for years because of it. I hope this review can help some things come to light and hopefully he can treat other patients differently. I will also suggest if you feel that he is treating you unfairly to speak up because it’s very unfortunate that he is doing this to multiple patients. I personally never spoke up about anything that I experienced under his care due to being inexperienced, But I want to do so now to help other patients avoid the stress I had to go through.
Es un doctor muy amable y atiende muy bien a sus pacientes lo recomiendo al 100 también el personal es muy amable y aunó lo asen sentir muy bien.
What a nightmare experience. Company - the last visit they made it mandatory and charged me two hundred for 2 mins visit so the doctor could say that all results are good and I just need to come back every 6 months. They claimed they cannot say it over the phone and I had to take a day off and come personally for a 2-minute visit where the doctor said that everything is fine. My last visit was for NO reason so they could just make more funds. Also, the doctor keeps visits as short as possible and he just tells you the basic information. For example, in my case smoking can cause complications. even though I don't smoke he didn't mention it in the first place. only when I asked him if there is anything that can make things worse and only after that he mentioned smoking. I tried to ask many questions but I believe it's his job to provide ALL the necessary information and to explain the situation and not to try to keep visits as fast as possible, especially for what they charge.
Made me so incredibly uncomfortable, every cervix check hurt so bad compared to my other ob who was out the second half of my pregnancy, screamed at his students to the point of making them cry while delivering my baby, & the nurse told him I wasn’t soft enough to start pushing & he had me start anyway. It was hard for me to have a voice with it being my first delivery, but he definitely made it a traumatic experience

Dr. Banuelos is professional, knowledgble and he did a great job with my surgery and now even the scare is almost gone. I highly recommende Dr. George Banuelos.
My only wish is that we had met before my health condition became unfavorably worse. If he had not seen me at my 2nd ER visit at Edwards, i would have come back a 3rd time for more blood transfusion due to the persistent hemorrhage only Dr B could stop with prescribed medicine leading up to my surgery. The other doctors at Edwards simply did not know what to do with me other than to declare it's just a bad case of anemia. In fact, Dr B was very upset in how they treated me at my 1st ER visit when they sent me home the next morning thinking the anemia would not persist due to the excessive & continuous blood loss. After many visits as his office, i learn that Dr B is very charming, funny and overall a very competent doctor. I feel safe and in good hands now that i'm in his care as his patient :) <3

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
