Dr Whang knows his business,He is very competent and compassionate.He helps you realize what your problem is and he helps you learn how to deal with it.He is also excellent with prescribing the best med.I should know.I've gone to him for 29 years.He has helped me so much.He goes the extra nine yards.

Dr Walter Whang has been my dr for 25 years. He is direct and to the point. He has always been on target with me, He will be strict, but it most likely is deserved! I have not been disappointed in him ever!

I've been a patient of Dr Whang for 8 years. Prior I had numerous psychiatrist but all they wanted to do was pushing medication and not listening to me. I was lucky to have found Dr Whang, I live 2.5 hours away, so 5 hour round trip and he's worth every minute. He listens to his patients, ask questions, and then discusses with you the treatment plan. He cares for his patients well being and I'm blessed he's my Dr. He saved my life.

Dr. Whang is by far the finest psychiatrist I know. I am 67 years old and have been treated by many psychiatrists over 50 years for Bipolar 1 Disorder. Dr. Whang has given me a life worth living. He treats me as an individual.

He truly cares about his patients, but be warned it can be hard to be seen and apt wait times are long but worth it when your name is called.

Whang seems knowledgeable but he is extremely unprofessional. He is very late for some appointments, misses some entirely, and when he does show up he's a mess. He has told patients that "there is no hope for them." I would strongly recommend another psych. He takes certain patients personally which is a terrible trait. He should be more mature and professional.

I have seen many psychiatrists in my life. Dr. Whang is number one. He treats me as an individual and my life is worth living because I am lucky enough to have him as my doctor.

I was very impressed with how quickly, yet thoughtfully Dr. Whang was able to assess my situation/personality and provide the much needed care. He is easy to talk to, a good listener, and appears to truly care about people. Simply put, he is a GOOD doctor.

Dr. Whang was my psychiatrist for over an 8 year period of time! Foolishly, while extremely vulnerable from the start of our relationship in 2008-2017, I never questioned anything or any manner of which he suggested or acted! I really was manipulated into believing he actually cared about me and my well-being! However! After almost dying because of Dr. Whang's reckless behavior and prescribing illegal amounts of medications! However, while having to accept reality! I definitely miss Dr. Whang despite almost dying because of his behavior!
