List of Edward-Elmhurst Health Center - Yorkville's Reviews
This location is absolutely terrible the Front staff have no idea what they're doing, every time you talk to somebody they tell you something different, when you try to explain your situation they act like you don't know what you're talking about and they are extremely rude. Save yourself a major headache and go to the Oswego location they are amazing!
Saw the nurse practitioner and was a great visit. Listened to my concerns and set up xrays while I was there. Also was able to get blood drawn without an additional appointment. Would recommend
This place has really went down hill since Dr Kwak left. So sad . It used to be amazing :( . Can't get an appointment when you are sick anymore. Appointments take well over a month . Can't get your lab results explained , it's been over 2 weeks and no response . Can't get an emergency prescription when needed because you are out of state . Hire another Doctor you are apparently short staffed . Some Doctors have too much on their plate . Nurses who you thought were fantastic somehow changed all of the sudden .
Dr Sikic and staff are very knowledgeable. After spending thousands of dollars with another doctor and having biopsies and different tests completed and not knowing a diagnosis I went for a second opinion from Dr Sikic. He found that I have diabetes and for 30 years now I am doing great under his care. I would recommend Edward-Elmhurst to anyone.
Tech who performed the mammogram was friendly and professional.
Dawn was a great Physical Therapist/lymphedema specialist! She did a great job to alleviate the pain and pressure I get from auxiliary cording. And she taught me exercises that I can do at home to keep my progress up. She was also very flexible with scheduling. Thanks Dawn!
Normally I have a decent experience for the walk in but the past couple times have been horrible. I called ahead to check eligibility for the rapid COVID test, and being pregnant and exposed they ensured me I would be eligible. The front desk woman was extremely rude to me and told me they didn’t even have them in stock here, which ended up being false. The doctor also tried to get around giving me the rapid test. The workers had no empathy and were extremely rude and gave false information for no visible reason. Very disappointing.
Great experience Tom is a great physical therapist
Efficient, personable and knowledgeable technician.
In January I visited this outpatient center two times because I felt hearing loss in one ear. Both times they said I had a ear infection and gave me antibiotics.First time it did nothing so I go back and they said I still have a ear infection. They give me another antibiotic and tell me to start it that evening with dinner.I took it and had a bad allergic reaction and couldn’t breathe so I had to go to Rush emergency room.At the emergency room the doctor was very upset and disturbed that I was given this antibiotic because I didn’t have a ear infection as the Edwards doctor earlier that day claimed I did.My portion of the bill after insurance was about $3000, me being allergic to the medication isn’t Edwards fault but I do feel like I was prescribed this medication because they didn’t know what to do and hoped a antibiotic would just take care of what they didn’t know.Be careful with the doctors here and medications prescribed in the immediate care we always take risks of allergy’s of something you have never taken but if it’s not prescribed with By a doctor that doesn’t know what they are looking at it’s not worth the risk. For that I felt Edwards was responsible for my Rush bill but when I complained I got no ware.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
