List of City Of Hope Cancer Center Chicago's Reviews
City of hope hospital in Zion IL is priceless the care is A1 , 5+ stars everyone I encountered from the housekeepers, kitchen staff, nurses, Dr. Ect were kind welcoming and all kept a smile on there face, my sister is a patient there I came in from out of town to see her and I was very pleased with the TLC she was receiving i recommend The City Of Hope Hospital , Hospital of the year award , I thank all of the staff in every department for there awesome hard team work and care it shows.
Friendly, caring staff and doctors. Whole body medicine.
I received treatment at City of Hope (formerly CTCA). They treated me with kindness and respect. I am now no evidence of disease. Highly recommended treatment here.
Before this was a cancer hospital they saved my life. But they shouldn’t have bothered as crime never changes and I’m not good enough to work there or even work anywhere without harassment. They took my life than and I was never able to change it and this town never changes in its ridiculous approach and appearances. This hospital like this town is a sham an eyesore that doesn’t care about the town they are in or their people in the area..I pray for you people thanks for saving my life.i hope the Holy Ghost enters your hospital with truth. Please change your name.
They are a teaching hospital and tell you that you have no choice but to let multiple male students touch your breast and examine you. They have a nurse come into the room before the doctor and yell at you and tell you, you have no choice. They have an audience of 7 people watch while your surgical scars are looked at. They tell you that you have to accept the Treatment of the cosmetic surgeon even though the oncologist surgeon said that the cosmetic sergen can decide they don't agree but pick the most invasive surgery for you. The oncologist gp said that the most invasive was not necessary but they go with that anyway and laugh. I am traumatized 😫
It's pure corporate america, the people I know that work there all hate it. They have no say who they get to work with or hire and the Suits make all the decisions. I've never seen a place in the Chicago region where everyone hated their jobs so much. Other reviews reflect the same impression
I've been coming here for over 10 years I come every year for my check up I loved this place because it never felt like a hospital it had a special ahh to it people would place music I'm the dining room it was just a place that made you feel comfortable that's what made me come here. The feeling that was here no longer is it feels very cold and hospital like now I will not be returning.
Had this facility still been CTCA I would have given 5 stars. I was treated here for 2 months in 2021, and even needed to stay in the hospital due to neutropenia. It was a great, patient centered facility. The changes since COH has assumed control are not patient friendly. We now must go online to fill out mileage reimbursement! I do not do online. I have never set up my patient portal and never will. I have any bills mailed to me. I wanted to get some snacks to have in our 4 hour car ride home and was told I could have 2 bags of chips ionly. " The meal cards are to purchase a healthy meal". That's just a couple of issues. The lady at the front desk was rude and informed me " you have to go online for the mileage, there is no other way" When I asked who I could see or call, she let out a sigh and said "no one". Coming to your check ups is stressful enough without this added burden. I love Dr. Pisick, but I may change my follow ups closer to home. I don't need the added stress.
Wish I could rate this a zero the lady in the ER is very rude and discriminating
The food is awful accept the salad bar. The people and care are phenomenal.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
