List of Dennis E. Mccreary's Reviews
I won't go to no other Pcp. He is patient, caring, nurturing. Dr. McCreery is the best MD I have ever had....period. I don't care if I have to wait hours for him or reschedule. He is so worth it. I love his professionalism and Shayla is definitely my favorite Nurse there. Super friendly, very kind and professional
Got me waiting for over 45 min and found out doctor still wasn't in building
These reviews say it all but I’ll add my two cents worth. If the important quality for your doctor is precision appt times ... this is not your guy. If you want medical expertise and compassionate care ... Dr. McCreary is the best. I’ve been with him since he started I think over 35 years ago. The best thing I did for my health was to learn to wait for the right doctor.
Dr. McCreary has been my physician since my previous doctor, John Dunlop, retired from the office. True, there can be a long wait to get in to see him, however; he is very compassionate, funny and thorough. I have a complicated medical situation with multiple issues and he keeps on top of each of them and their iteractions - I would highly recommend Dr. McCreary to anyone looking for a "family doctor"
Pretty good doctor, wait time is horrible waited over an hour to see him each time. Why make appointments if you can't keep up with them?!
Everyone in my family has been seeing Dr. McCreary for years. Although waiting over an hour past your scheduled appointment time does get old, you realize that it's because he takes his time with each patient. If you call before the front desk, they can usually tell you how late he is running. It does make scheduling time off work tricky but his years of knowledge, expertise and wonderful caring nature is worth it to me. I don't feel like just another patient. When he shakes your hand, looks you in the eye and asks "how are you" you feel like he genuinely cares. Using the patient portal has been extremely helpful too. The nurses who have replied to me via the portal or over the phone have been very helpful and friendly. The reception staff is always easy to deal with as well.
Dr Mccreary is a fantastic Dr He listens to everything you say and works with you on your problems.
I have been a patient with Dr. McCreary for over 15 years. He has explained to me his usually late running practice and it is because he cares. He listens to everything. Some patients need more time than others. He gives you all the time you need. So that should be thought of when you are waiting. He always has a smile for you and cares a great deal for his patients. He has been with us through thick and thin.
I ask Dr. McCreary “What kind of diet would you recommend?” and he shouted “I thought you wanted to treat this aggressively.” I had a terrible infection as a result of a biopsy and he shouted “He is a good doctor” The woman at the counter ask “What was going on in there?” I am afraid to ask him any questions and ended up going to an Acupuncturist who helped me with the overwhelming pain that Doctor McCreary refused to acknowledge. His display of disrespect is unacceptable.
I disagree with the previous reviewer. Dr. McCreary is usually behind, in my opinion because he takes the time to answer all questions and concerns. I believe patient care is his #1 priority. My mom is in much better hands since with him. I have chosen him as our family doctor and we all get excellent care. I also do not like the wait times but it is all worth it once you get with the doc. Bring a book and schedule a later appointment if it conflicts with work. He is caring and thorough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
